This is Chart 1: Total revenues 2004/05 the ninth year of the publication, profiling the largest clubs in the €m world’s most popular sport for the 2004/05 season. A number of 275 methods may be used to determine the size of a club – including measures of fanbase, attendances, TV audiences, or on pitch 275.7 success. However, for the purposes of this publication, we look at 250 the best publicly available measure of ‘financial muscle’: revenue from day to day football business operations. We only rank the clubs 246.4 on the money coming in.
