إفتتاحية - Editorial 10 La Tunisie, berceau de multiples civilisations n’a cessé de développer le dialogue Nord-Sud et de favoriser une Méditerranée du XXIe siècle vivante et créatrice. C’est au travers de ces idées motrices que la BIAT s’est attelée à parrainer la naissance du Festival International du Cinéma Méditerranéen de Tunisie «MANARAT» en s’associant à ses initiateurs, le Centre National du Cinéma et de l’Image du côté tunisien et l’Institut Français de Tunisie et le Centre National du Cinéma du côté français. C’est aussi le concept d’un festival avec des projections gratuites sur les plages qui a séduit la BIAT et l’a confortée dans sa volonté de participer à la démocratisation de la culture cinématographique. Consciente que l’économie de la culture représente un levier de croissance important pour la Tunisie, la BIAT ambitionne d’être un acteur actif et impactant dans le secteur de la culture et de la créativité notamment en mettant à la disposition des porteurs de projets des solutions de financement appropriées et adaptées à leurs besoins. La BIAT s’investit une fois de plus dans la culture souhaitant ainsi contribuer au dé- veloppement du cinéma tunisien avec des initiatives qui s’inscrivent dans la durée. Tunisia as the cradle of multiple civilizations has never ceased to develop dialogue between the North and south and to favor a Mediterranean which is alive and creative in the 21th Century. With these driving ideas, the BIAT has striven to sponsor the creation of Tunisia’s Festival of Mediterranean cinema «MANARAT» by associating with its founders the Tunisian side and the French Institute of Tunisia as well as the National Centre of Cinema on the French side. The concept of a festival with free screenings on the beaches appealed to the BIAT and confirmed its will to take part in the democratization of cinema culture. Conscious that the economy of culture is an important lever of growth for Tunisia, the BIAT has the ambition of being an active and effective actor in the sector of culture and creativity particularly by offering project holders appropriate funding solutions adapted to their needs. Once again the BIAT invests in culture hoping to contribute to the development of Tunisian cinema with long lasting initiatives. Dominique Besnehard est producteur. Il a commencé sa carrière comme directeur de casting avant de devenir l’un des plus grands agents artistiques représentant de très nombreux acteurs, actrices et réalisateurs au sein de l’agence artmedia. Citons par exemple Jeanne Moreau, Nathalie Baye, Isabelle Adjani, Sophie Marceau, Em- manuelle Béart ou encore Jean-Louis Trintignant, Pierre Arditi, Richard Anconina, François Ozon, Xavier Beauvois, Claire Denis et bien d’autres. En 2008 il crée sa société de production Mon Voisin Productions et le Festival du Film Francophone d’Angoulême dont il est le Délégué Général. En 2015, il tourne pour France 2 une série à succès qui en est à sa troisième sai- son «Dix pour cent» qui décrit avec humour et dérision le quotidien d’une agence artistique. Dominique Besnehard a tourné des rôles secondaires dans de nombreux films, il présente sur Canal + l’émission de cinéma «Un ticket pour deux». En 2014, il a publié un livre autobiographique «Casino d’hiver». Il est Officier de l’Ordre des Lettres et des Arts et Officier de la Légion d’Honneur.
