CONSUMER MEDIA RELEASE MAY 2002 GREAT SCOTT! THE BACK TO THE FUTURE TRILOGY AVAILABLE FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME ON DVD PLANNED RELEASE DATE - AUGUST 21, 2002 Michael J Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Thomas F. Wilson, Lea Thompson, Crispin Glover One of the most eagerly awaited DVD and video collections is almost here. Presented by Steven Spielberg and Robert Zemeckis the legendary 'Back to the Future Trilogy' will be available August 21, 2002 on VHS and for the first time ever, on DVD with over 10 hours of special features including deleted scenes, outtakes, music videos and much, much more! Since it's original cinema release in the 80's, The Back to the Future Trilogy has amassed a staggering worldwide box office revenue of US$926 million. In fact, 'Back to the Future' was the worldwide highest grossing film of 1985. For generations time travel has captivated readers and movie-goers alike, and this August the most revered series of films in this genre will not only be re-lived by those who treasured the original cinema releases - but will be introduced to a whole new generation on DVD. It doesn't matter if you are a fan of the 80's, Michael J Fox, or the technology of DVD - this is an event not to be missed, being one of the most anticipated DVD releases of all-time. Back to the Future follows the amazing adventures of Marty McFly (Michael J Fox), a high-school student in the small Northern California town of Hill Valley. The fun begins when Marty’s friend and mentor, crazed scientist Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd), invents a time machine in the form of a nuclear-powered DeLorean.

Two miles east, at Folsom and Main streets, the first owners began moving into Lumina, 656 super-luxe condos. The connection between the two is direct, the timing’s not coincidental, the backstory convoluted — and telling. Tishman Speyer built 1400 Mission for $65 million and Lumina for $620 million. One is inclusionary affordable housing, the other, by dint of price, exclusionary. With the exception of 23 rental apartments at 1400 Mission, all 823 condos are for sale. I was always impressed by Penny Rimbaud’s statement that the later Crass singles were issued as “tactical responses” to given situations. I started off writing and editing Fanzines, and it is only for reasons of my own that I decided to issue this magazine like Dear Friends, clockwork every Saturday, more recently every Friday. And so, what was planned to be an ordinary “ring in the old, ring out the new” (or is it But I think that the job of a magazine is a the other way round?) type issue has complex one, and I wouldn’t really like to completely gone out the window. FinalProject 25/08/2018, 930 PM COGS108 Final Project Group Members: Yanyi Wang Ziwen Zeng Lingfei Lu Yuhan Wang Yuqing Deng Introduction and Background Movie revenue is one of the most important measure of good and bad movies. Revenue is also the most important and intuitionistic feedback to producers, directors and actors. Therefore it is worth for us to put effort on analyzing what factors correlate to revenue, so that producers, directors and actors know how to get higher revenue on next movie by focusing on most correlated factors. Our project focuses on anaylzing all kinds of factors that correlated to revenue, for example, genres, elements in the movie, popularity, release month, runtime, vote average, vote count on website and cast etc. After analysis, we can clearly know what are the crucial factors to a movie's revenue and our analysis can be used as a guide for people shooting movies who want to earn higher renveue for their next movie. They can focus on those most correlated factors, for example, shooting specific genre and hire some actors who have higher average revenue. Reasrch Question: Various factors blend together to create a high revenue for movie, but what are the most important aspect contribute to higher revenue? Read Ebook {PDF EPUB} Dying for Tomorrow by Michael Moorcock Michael Moorcock: Death Is No Obstacle. When John Steinbeck was once asked how he went about writing, he replied, ‘With a pencil.’ Some writers are reluctant to give away too much about their inspiration, their influences, their thinking and writing and editing processes, as if wanting to perpetuate the Romantic fallacy that genius and inspiration just strike and that the lucky, ‘gifted’ individual is driven to pick up a pen and write down what the Muse dictates. Despite his prodigious gifts and his long-standing success as a novelist, Michael Moorcock is only too happy to share the secrets of his craft. In a 1992 book, Death Is No Obstacle , which is essentially a long transcript of interviews the writer Colin Greenland had with Moorcock in 1990, Moorcock happily reveals some of the ‘tricks of the trade’ of writing genre fiction, as well as thoughtfully exploring his own relationship with various genres of popular fiction. The book isn’t easy to get hold of – copies tend to go for around £50 online. I’m indebted to my university library, which owns a signed copy. In a previous post on Interesting Literature , I’ve outlined some of Moorcock’s top tips for writing a genre novel in a matter of days, which are taken from the first chapter of Death Is No Obstacle . The rest of the book covers, in order, comedy and science fiction (including a revealing discussion about Moorcock’s own self-confessed failure to write straight science fiction, partly because he has no great love for much mid-century SF), comic strips and commedia dell’Arte, didactic fiction (featuring Behold the Man , Moorcock’s remarkable novel about a time traveller who ends up living in the time of the Crucifixion), non-linear fiction, where it went wrong (featuring, perhaps surprisingly, a discussion of the ‘failure’ of Gloriana ), and imitating and remodelling (Conrad et al).
