LAMBING NAMED TO ASSOCIATE BOARD

MALCOLM E. LAMBING, JR. has been named to the M e r c y h u r s t College Board of Associates. Lambing is president, chief administrative officer, and director of The First National Bank of Pennsylvania. His Mercyhurst appointment marks the first new Associate named to the Board since President Shane assumed the leader ship of the school in July. The 38-year old bank executive will be among the 26 Associates who will meet Tuesday, December 12, for a 6 p.m. dinner meeting in the State Dining Room.

FLU SHOTS FOR FACULTY SPOUSES

FLU SHOTS will be given to the spouses of administrators and faculty members by Sister Joseph Mary, R.N. for $1. Have your spouse contact the Health Office by Friday, December 15 if she is interested. Phone 864-0681, e x t e n s i o n 279 between 9-3:30 p.m. or she can leave her name with the switchboard operator after health office hours. The shots will be administered before Christmas at an hour (day or evening) convenient to your spouse. The Health Office will follow-up your wife's initial call.

EDUCATION DEPARTMENT PLANS PARTY

A Christmas get together for education majors and prospective majors has been planned by the Education Department faculty for Thursday, December 14, i n Weber Hall from 2-5 p.m.

...(Treasurer's Office). Since the INTERNAL MAIL delivery has N O T been satisfactory, the brown envelope system will be discontinued. Effective immediately, internal mail will be handled by the m a i l room. Materials are to be sent to the post office directly. Correspondence will be distributed by the mail clerk to the respective faculty boxes.

CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PARTY

Approximately 35 youngsters are expected to attend the Christmas Party for children of the Mercyhurst Community on Sunday, December 17 in the P r e s t o n Faculty Lounge from 2 until 4 p.m. Parents are to bring a dozen cookies and a new or good used toy for a less fortunate child in the area.
