Die MMC Movies Köln GmbH ist ein Schwesterunternehmen und der Filmproduktionsarm der MMC Studios Köln GmbH, die in Köln-Ossendorf eine der größten Studiolandschaften Europas betreibt.
Die MMC Movies Köln GmbH koproduziert nationale und internationale Spielfilmproduktionen für Kino und TV. Sie ist das Nachfolgeunternehmen der MMC Independent GmbH (MMCI). Mit dem fünffach Oscar-nominierten Erfolgsfilm „Die fabelhafte Welt der Amélie“ hatte sich die MMCI als Koproduzent auf dem internationalen Markt etabliert. Mit weiteren Koproduktionen wie „Chéri – Eine Komödie der Eitelkeiten“, aber auch mit deutschen Kinofilmen wie „7 Zwerge – Männer allein im Wald“ - mit knapp 7 Millionen Kinozuschauern einer der erfolgreichsten deutschsprachigen Filme überhaupt - sowie mit „Hilde“ und „Die Abenteuer des Huck Finn“ konnte sie ihre Position national sowie international festigen. Seit 2013 führt die MMC Movies diese Erfolgsgeschichte fort.
