The smile took me by surprise, caught my soul in the shockwave, Spilled an ocean helping of phosphorescent things, floating like star petals... a flower, unfurling the seeds of a new galaxy... a light with claws, tender like a laser, like a breeze, cutting me free to know, in a moment forever etched in pain, how loved it is... this thing you saw inside your smile. It broke my heart, over and over... made me fragile in a place I'd barely glimpsed. I stumbled wearily and growled, and the smile died. I should have squeezed 'til the stars popped, just to hug it back into you. Instead, I took up orbit in its glow, living a life blessed by your forgiveness. --- by John Hulme All your own work Featured here are some of your own works Creative Upcycling Before During Finished Matchbox Baby Useful links Essential Information for Unpaid Carers Information for people who are caring, unpaid for friends or family during Coronavirus (COVID-19 outbreak.
