Jones, U. S. Indian Agent, the sums opposite our name in full payment of our share of the per capita fund of $53.33 and the interest due therein provided by the Act of July 29, 1848 in commutation for removal and subsistence for those Cherokees who have removed themselves to the nation West of the Mississippi.” o Per capita roll lists the following details: Names of claimants and their heirs, number on Noul Cay (?) Roll, sex and age, when emigrated, number on Swetland Roll, amount per capita, interest, time for which interest is computed, signature of claimants in acknowledgement of the receipt of amount due, and witness to signatures of claimants and payments.
