❇ On September 18th, I was on my way to the hospital to have a CT scan done on my liver, and a gentleman called in on Kenny’s show and asked for the song Shine On. He said something to the affect that he knew that someone out there was going through something very hard in there life right know and that he wanted to let them know that Jesus was there for them. Now I am sure that this wasn’t just for me, but it sure felt like it. See, I am a breast cancer survivor of 9 years & know they see something strange going on with my kidney and they have not been able to rule out cancer. It helped to hear that no matter what happens that God is there for me and always has been. He got me through cancer the first time, and I gave him all the glory then, and if need be I will do it again. If you read this and say a pray for me also say one for my kids who are 5 & 3, and my loving and supporting husband. Power 88 thank you for all your words of hope and encouragement. For if God is for you who can be against you. - Patricia

❇ My husband and I just transferred to Germany.. There are two, yes two radio stations that we can understand and neither is Christian. We both miss getting in our car and listening to Power 88. ❇ I just wanted to thank you for the support of the Praise In The Park in Lucedale. I listen to your station coming and going to work and enjoy it very much. The Praise In The Park was important; I had a young man with me who needed to hear the music of Newsong. He was not real sure he wanted to be there. But ended up enjoying himself very much. We stood in the rain but it did not matter, we enjoyed it all. Music has always moved me and I am thankful that the contemporary music is growing so well. Some people don’t go to church or may have to work and are not able. They will listen to music and there are many very good messages in these songs and what’s even better is after a while they continue to hum the message. - Cindy
