1. All glasses are thermal contraction compatible (tested with a trident seal) with typical generic lead and soda lime based glasses within the internationally recognized standard of  =  0.5  9610-7 0-300oC. We recommend using the flashing colours with Gaffer Batch for a perfect thermal and viscosity compatibility match. Philips pelletised batch # 3300 and Cristalica 100 are also suitable.

2. The ex-works price for chip and grain is 50p per kilo extra.

3. Chip sizes are as follows: K1 0.5 – 2.0mm, K2 2.0 - 4.0mm, K3 4.0 - 8mm.

4. Powder comes in two forms: Grain and Talc.

5. Photosensitive ruby #080 is only available in rod form.

6. An instruction sheet is available regarding the optimum procedure to follow when using Photosensitive Ruby #080.

7. The opal glasses have quite a high softening point. We recommend a soak temperature of around 600oC (1110oF) before transferring rod to be heated in the glory hole, otherwise internal cracking (which you may not hear) will create small bubbles.

8. The Duro series are only offered in rod and powder
