U.I.F. is a national association of lawyers. Improving the access to Justice of Roma and Sinti women and their families, coordinating the team members (paralegal and facilitator) of the legal clinic set up in Naples, following directives of the national coordinator for Italy and collaborating with other teams operating in Rome-Italy and in other countries where the programme works. Providing advisory services to beneficiaries, especially on Migration Law and Statelessness. Drafting reports to the project Manager and applications or complaints to Courts, national Authorities or administrative bodies. Defence and legal representation in court or before administrative offices. Raising awareness on fundamental rights within the targeted communities/settlements of potential beneficiaries of the Programme in Naples and in other cities within the Region of Campania. Empowering Roma and Traveller women living in Naples and in other cities within the Region of Campania to adequately address discrimination and other human rights violations committed against them, including early/forced marriage, trafficking, domestic violence, housing evictions, police abuse and hate crime by raising their awareness about discrimination, complaint mechanisms, the justice system and human rights institutions. Facilitating access to court and court proceedings at local, national and international levels.
