NEW INSTRUMENTS OF GOVERNMENT

Purpose of the Report

To agree new Instruments of Government to be made under the School Governance (Constitution) (England) Regulations 2012.

Information and Analysis

The following proposals have been received from school Governing Bodies and they comply with the requirements of the Regulations:-

(1) Aldercar Community Language College – The school has asked for a change of its Instrument of Government to bring into effect a change in the school’s name to Aldercar High School effective from September 2015.

(2) Elton CE VC Primary School – 9 members comprising 2 parents, 1 Local Authority, 1 Staff, 1 Headteacher, 2 Foundation and 2 co-opted governors.

(3) Stanley St Andrew’s CE VC Primary School - 10 members comprising 2 parents, 1 Local Authority, 1 Staff, 1 Headteacher, 2 Foundation and 3 co-opted governors.
