Sept 4 (encore) Drama Rated: PG-13 Runtime: 2:00 Starring: , , Justin Theroux, Young wife, mother and lawyer battles the U.S. Supreme Court for gender equality and women's rights. She works with the American Civil Liberties Union to argue cases on behalf of both men and women, demonstrating that discrimination "on the basis of sex" is unconstitutional. Her trailblazing work paved the way for her to become a beloved Supreme Court Justice . Rated PG-13 by the Motion Picture Association of America for Adult Themes, Language.

Sept 11 Amazing Grace Documentary Rated: G Runtime: 1:27 Starring: Aretha Franklin, C.L. Franklin, Clara Ward, Mick Jagger, Charlie Watts This documentary presents Aretha Franklin performing with the New Bethel Baptist Church Choir in Watts, Los Angeles in January 1972. The recorded album was a critical and commercial success for Aretha, standing as the biggest selling record of her career with over two million copies sold in the United States. In attendance are members of Franklin's family, the local congregation and even Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones who worship alongside her. Rated G by the Motion Picture Association of America.

Rocketman is a one-of-a-kind musical celebration set to Elton John’s most beloved songs. Rated R by the Motion Picture Association of America for Drug Use/Content, Language, Sexuality.

Anne Gordon Center for Active Adults 1901 Spring Forest Road Raleigh NC 27615 919-996-4720 Movie Attendance Rules 1- Please do not arrive before 1:15pm, to avoid crowding with our other pro- grams. 2- Movie goers need to sign-in at the front desk after 1:15pm and receive a ticket. 3– One ticket per person. Do not sign-in or hold a seat for someone who has not yet arrived. 4– If you want to sit with someone you need to wait for them in the lobby. 5- Attendance is first-come first-serve for the first 60 people to arrive, which is our maximum capacity by fire code. 6- Once 60 people arrive, we will start the movie and post “Sorry The Movie is Full” signs at the entry to the building. Other Rules -Please put your phone on silent/vibrate! -Let the front desk know ASAP if there are any spills. Other Information -Drinks and snacks are available from the machines for $1 each. -There is a microwave available for your use in the kitchen, please check with the front desk staff if you have any questions about its use. -If the movie fills, we will try to reshow it at the next available date. -It would be a rare occurrence, but the movies are subject to change based on Redbox availability.
