 Issuing filming permits for public areas  Ensuring production companies have valid insurance and make them aware of our filming guidelines  Offering and maintaining the Kent Locations Database with over 550 searchable entries  Offering a bespoke location finding service  Facilitating road closures and traffic management for filming through the Kent (Filming on Highways) Act 2010.  Connecting productions to local agencies  Help for productions with early stage research for locations and scripts  Providing references to known production company contacts or companies when scouting in Kent  Stepping in to mediate should any problems arise between productions and residents  Assistance with sourcing runners and Kent trainees  Maintaining the Kent Filming Partnership that makes Kent a film friendly county  Supporting students with location filming and work experience placements  Marketing our services online, e-newsletters, events and industry advertising  Supporting local industry networks and meeting with local industry champions to support sector Annex 3 – Kent Film Office Partners
