Using dit name Yvon at Ste-anne de la Parade on November 30, 1726 According to his own testimony, Yves grew up in Morlaix, where he presumably learned the art of healing then known as: bleeding, dressing wounds, and using several remedies for curing different maladies. For more than 20 years, Yves practiced his healing knowledge in Ste-Anne-de-la-Perade. He was known for curing cancers and in this field he achieved remarkable cures.     Cartographie détaillée des milieux humides des secteurs habités du territoire de la Mauricie RAPPORT TECHNIQUE Janvier 2015 1 2 PARTENARIAT Le présent rapport présente les étapes et les résultats des travaux de cartographie détaillée des milieux humides du territoire de la Mauricie. Ce travail a été effectué en 2014 par l’équipe de réalisation du projet global de cartographie détaillée des milieux humides à l’échelle des basses- terres du Saint-Laurent. Cette équipe est composée de Canards Illimités Canada (CIC) et du ministère du Développement durable, de l'Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques (MDDELCC). CIC et MDDELCC contribuent financièrement et en nature au projet global. Le développement d'outils géomatiques et de produits cartographiques pour faciliter la diffusion et la consultation des données du projet global est une contribution de CIC. Ce projet fut possible grâce à la participation de plusieurs partenaires régionaux et gouvernementaux. La Conférence régionale des élus (CRÉ) de la Mauricie, grâce au Fonds de développement régional (FDR) dont elle assume la gestion, a contribué financièrement à la réalisation du projet pour les trois MRC du sud de la Mauricie en 2014. Les Villes de Shawinigan et de Trois-Rivières ont contribués financièrement et en ressources humaines pour leurs territoires respectifs en 2013.     Communiqué Pour diffusion immédiate LANCEMENT DU PROJET « QUALITÉ DE L’EAU DES PUITS PRIVÉS DE LA MAURICIE » SUR LES TERRITOIRES DE L’OBVRLY ET DE LA SAMBBA Louiseville, le 30 avril 2019 – L’Organisme de bassins versants des rivières du Loup et des Yamachiche (OBVRLY) et la Société d’aménagement et de mise en valeur du bassin de la Batiscan (SAMBBA) invitent les citoyens de la Mauricie à faire analyser gratuitement leur eau de consommation provenant d’un puits privé cet été. Grâce au soutien financier du Fonds d’appui au rayonnement des régions (FARR) du ministère des Affaires municipales et de l’Habitation, plus de 500 propriétaires de puits privés pourront obtenir une analyse gratuite de l’eau du puits de leur résidence pour savoir si celle-ci contient des chlorures, des nitrates/nitrites ou des coliformes comme E.coli. L’objectif principal du projet est de sensibiliser, éduquer et accompagner les propriétaires de puits privés de la région de la Mauricie quant à une meilleure gestion de leurs puits. Rappelons qu’une caractérisation hydrogéologique réalisée par des chercheurs de l’Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières entre 2009 et 2013 a démontré que près de 40 % des puits domestiques du sud- ouest de la Mauricie ne respectaient pas les normes en ce qui concerne la contamination bactériologique. « Ce projet aura aussi des répercussions positives sur les milieux de vie et la santé des citoyens de la région ainsi que sur les écosystèmes naturels, puisqu’il vise ultimement l’amélioration de la qualité de l’eau potable des puits privés via une meilleure gestion des sources de contamination autour des puits », souligne Francis Clément, directeur général de l’OBVRLY.

Through my research I have found that both entities follow a very similar timeline with highs and lows coming around the same time in the same province; although, I have not found any direct linkage between the two. My analysis begins around 1837 and continues through present day, and by analyzing the histories of each movement demonstrates clearly that both movements followed a unique and similar timeline.
