Az ECAC 15 nem uniós tagállamának folyamatos részvételét, és ezáltal a program páneurópai dimenzióját a szóban forgó államok közül 14 állam és az EASA közötti munkamegállapodás aláírása biztosította. A 27 EU-tagállamot is beleértve az EK-SAFA 2004. április 30-án kihirdették a harmadik országok közösségi program összesen tehát 41 részt vevQ állammal büszkélkedhet repülQtereket használó légi jármqveinek biztonságáról szóló (lásd az A. függeléket). 2007 legvégén Albánia is aláírta a 2004/36/EK európai parlamenti és tanácsi irányelvet (az munkamegállapodást, amely 2008. január 1-jével lépett hatályba.

Die Route wird bis zum 22. September 3x wöchentlich (Di, Do, Sa) mit einem 160-sitzigen A320 bedient. Es ist in diesem Sommer die einzige Linienverbindung zwischen Griechenland und Venedig. Air Berlin machte binnen einer Woche eine zweite Kapitalerhöhung fest. Man kündigte die Ausgabe von 4,5 Millionen neuer Aktien unter Ausschluss des Bezugsrechts der Altaktionäre an. Vier Millionen Papiere übernimmt wie geplant der Hauptaktionär ESAS Holding, Air-Berlin-Aufsichtsratschef Johannes Zurnieden erhält 350.000 Stück, Vorstandschef Joachim Hunold 150.000. Der Preis liegt bei 3,50 Euro je Anteilsschein, womit Air Berlin knapp 16 Millionen Euro zufließen. Der Konzern hatte vor einer Woche mit der Ausgabe von knapp 6,6 Millionen Aktien zum gleichen Stückpreis insgesamt rund 23 Millionen Euro eingenommen. Zugleich bekräftigte Air Berlin trotz Branchenkrise ihr Ergebnisziel. Man wolle eine besseres operatives Ergebnis anstreben als im letzten Jahr. Damals wies Air Berlin vor Zinsen und Steuern einen operativen Gewinn von 14,2 Mio. Euro aus. Air Berlin stellte eine 737-800 (D-ABAO, msn 28069) außer Dienst und retournierte sie an die firmeneigene Leasingfirma J Hunold + Co. Air Comet musterte einen A340-300 aus (EC-KAJ, msn 15) und retournierte ihn an Grupo Marsans. Air Europa nahm Anfang Juni ihren ersten Liniendienst nach Nordamerika auf. Täglich fliegt man von Madrid nach New York JFK.

    AVIATIONTRENDS STATISTICS, ANALYSIS AND INFORMATION FROM THE SWEDISH TRANSPORT AGENCY 2010 FACTS 25.5 million passengers using scheduled and charter traffic at Swedish airports, 9.3 per cent (equivalent to 2.6 million passengers) fewer than in the previous year. 19.46 million international passengers – a decrease of 9 per cent. 5.99 million domestic passengers – a decrease of 11 per cent. The average passenger load factor reached 69.9 per cent in 2009, 1.7 percentage points more than in 2008. Total air freight to and from Swedish airports in 2009 was just over 141,100 tonnes, 24 per cent less than in 2008. International freight decreased by 23 per cent to 139,700 tonnes. Domestic freight, which accounted for 1 per cent of the total freight volume, decreased by about 63 per cent. There were 372,400 landings in 2009 − over 20,500 fewer than in 2008, and representing a decrease of 5.2 per cent. There were 235,091 scheduled and non-scheduled traffic landings, 8.4 per cent fewer than in 2008. Stockholm-Arlanda handled 16.04 million passengers, 11 per cent fewer than in 2008. In absolute terms the increase was greatest at Stockholm-Bromma, which had 150,000 more passengers in 2009. In 2009 there was scheduled and non-scheduled commercial traffic from 41 airports in Sweden. Ursprünge des SAFA-Programms der EG Ursprünglich wurde das SAFA-Programm (Safety Assessment of Foreign Aircraft – Sicherheitsüberprüfung von Luftfahrzeugen aus Drittländern) von der Europäischen Zivilluftfahrt-Konferenz (ECAC) 1996 ins Leben gerufen. Das SAFA-Programm hatte keine verbindliche europäische Rechtsgrundlage, sondern basierte auf den Zusagen der Abteilungsleiter für Luftfahrt der teilnehmenden ECAC-Mitgliedstaaten. Der Anwendungsbereich der Inspektionen von „ausländischen“ Luftfahrzeugen bezog sich auf solche Luftfahrzeuge, die nicht unter der Kontrolle der zuständigen Behörde des Staats, in dem die Inspektion erfolgte, verwendet oder betrieben wurden. Am 30. April 2004 wurde die Richtlinie 2004/36/EG des Europäischen Parlaments und des Rates über die Sicherheit von Luftfahrzeugen aus Drittstaaten, die Flughäfen in der Gemeinschaft anfliegen (die sogenannte „SAFA-Richtlinie“) veröffentlicht.     AVIATIONTRENDS STATISTICS, ANALYSIS AND INFORMATION FROM THE SWEDISH TRANSPORT AGENCY 2009 FACTS 28.1 million passengers in scheduled and char- ter traffic at Swedish airports, an increase of 3.4 per cent. 21.3 million passengers in international traffic, an increase of 5.2 per cent, 6.7 million passengers in domestic traffic, a decrease of 2.2 per cent Number of passengers per flight was 74.2. The average amount of passengers on domestic flights was 50.1, and the corresponding number for international traffic was 87.6 per flight. Air-freight to and from Swedish airports during 2008 amounted to just over 185,300 tonnes, a decrease of 13.4 per cent compared with 2007. International freight dropped by 13.5 per cent to 180,700 tonnes. Domestic freight which accounted for 2.5 per cent of the total freight volume, declined by about 9 per cent. There were 392,910 landings which was almost unchanged as compared with 2007. The num- ber of landings in scheduled and charter traffic was 256,604, corresponding to an increase of 2.1 per cent compared with 2007. Stockholm-Arlanda handled 18.1 million pas- sengers, an increase of 1.3 per cent compared with 2007. In absolute numbers, the increase was greatest at Stockholm-Skavsta with 485,000 more passengers during 2008. During 2008, scheduled and non-scheduled commercial traffic was carried out from 41 airports in Sweden.
