French Guiana, or, as the French call their country, La Guyane, won’t quickly end up in a list of ultimate holiday destinations. And that’s a shame, because a 40 minute flight away with Surinam Airways is a country with plenty to visit and do. And an extra special aspect is the history of French Guiana, which has been well-preserved.
