1. Are there any promotions if I purchase the Series 5G? 2. Who is eligible for the extra FREE 4GB? Customers who sign up or recontract on any Combo or XO mobile plan on a 2-year Device Agreement with HUAWEI P40 series enjoy this promotion. It is only applicable for residential customers, including Youth, Silver, Staff, Staff & Family Plans, and CIS customers. It is not applicable to business sales customers.

3. What kind of SIM card does the HUAWEI P40 and P40 Pro require? Will there be any SIM card charges? The HUAWEI P40 and P40 Pro requires a Nano SIM. Please note that a change of SIM card is needed if you are using a regular/micro-SIM card. A fee of $37.45 (after GST) is applicable with any SIM card change.

1. I know the HUAWEI do not come with Mobile Services (GMS). What are the apps that will not be pre-installed? The following apps will not come pre-installed with the new HUAWEI Smartphones, Google Map, , Store, Facebook, Whatsapp, Chrome, Linkedln, Grab, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook Messenger, You Tube, , , and . However, the Huawei App Gallery is an alternative to the Google Play Store where you can download some similar apps. 2. If I buy the device, what effect will it have on GMS? HUAWEI P40 series (P40, P40 Pro, P40 Pro+) will not have pre-installed Google apps. You can still download some apps through 3rd party app stores - Aptoid, ApkMonk, ApkPure, 9App, UptoDown, etc. However, some apps may not work perfectly.

4. How do I download the apps I need which are not pre-installed in the HUAWEI smartphones? You may download some of the apps using Huawei App Gallery or it via the web browser that comes with your HUAWEI smartphones. 5. How do I download the apps that I need if HUAWEI Smartphones do not have Google Play Store? You can access HUAWEI's own app gallery that comes pre-installed on the Huawei HMS (Huawei Mobile Services) Mobile devices. Huawei App Gallery is an alternative to the Google Play Store where you can download selected apps. More help is also available to you at the dedicated toll-free hotline 800-852- 6666. 6. How does using a phone without Google Mobile Service (GMS) affect me? As Google Mobile Service (GMS) is not supported on HUAWEI Smartphones, the phones do not come pre-installed with Google apps. 8. Can I use the HUAWEI browser to search on Google? Yes, you can. Simply open your HUAWEI browser and go to Google search.

9. Do HUAWEI smartphones run on Harmony OS? HUAWEI smartphones are running on HUAWEI EMUI based on Android Open Source Project.

10. What are the differences between GMS & HMS? Both GMS & HMS are on the Android Open Source Project, but with different mobile services. Huawei Mobile Service (HMS) is a set of cloud services that acts as a platform that connects app developers to Huawei's cloud ecosystem.

11. Why don’t I see Singtel Apps in HMS? As are not supported on selected Huawei phones [HUAWEI P40 Series, Mate XS and P30 Series), My Singtel app and Singtel Dash is currently available on the Huawei App Gallery. However, some features on the apps (e.g. push notifications on the Singtel Dash app) will not be available. We are currently working to resolve this in the upcoming app releases.

In the meanwhile, you will still be able to do the below on My Singtel app: - Monitor your local mobile data usage, talktime and SMS on the dashboard. - View and pay your Singtel bills. - Subscribe to roaming services and add-ons. - View our Shop and your Rewards.
