As a part of the celebration of the International Day of Yoga, a Yoga and Meditation session was organized at Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur on June 21, 2017 from 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM for the students, faculty and staff members of the Institute. Shri Juneja Ji demonstrated the techniques and benefits of performing different yoga and asanas to the participants

A nukkad natak performance Nukkad Natak was given by the students of for Project Dramatics society at Jhalana 30.07.17 CACS “Nikhaar” Gram in order to create (Dramatics awareness about the Society ) importance of cleanliness among the people of slum.

The event of MNIT’s Finest Comedian was organized by the Dramatics Society, C.A.C.S on th 10 August, 2017. The event started at 5:30 p.m. and was wrapped up by 6:45 p.m. at Neeti Sabhagar , Prabha Bhavan. MNIT’s finest The main motive of the event was comedian to encourage and appreciate the 10.08.17 CACS (Dramatics talent of stand-up comedy amongst Society) the students. The competition was open for all U.G and P.G. students. Total 30 participants auditioned for the prelims out of which 23 were selected for the final round by the judges, Dr. Nivedita Koul and Dr. Reeta Singh. The judging panel for

the final round had Dr. Sumit Khandelwal and Mr. Shiv Shankar.

A short skit named “Pani ka Rang kaisa “ was performed by the dramatics society for the “Energy Club” highlighting the importance of water in our Short skit for lives. The play was performed ‘Energy Club’ 19.08.17 CACS in VTLC, a crowd of more than (‘Dramatics 200 was witnessed. Dr. Society’) Nivedita Koul was the chief guest of the event.

A Robotics workshop was organized by Technical Society of CACS (Creative Arts and Cultural Society) to Institute students with the astonishing and bewildering world of Robots. The workshop commenced on 2nd September, 2017 at 9:00AM and ended on 3rd September 07:00 PM. The Robotic workshop covered various 02.09.17 Workshops fascinating topics like Autonomous - CACS (Technical Robot, Obstacle Avoider Robot, 03.09.17 Society) Bluetooth Robotics, PC Controlled Robot, Line Follower Robot and Obstacle Detector Robots. This workshop was a success because of the commendable effort and meticulous planning of Dr. Meenakshi Tripathi, Dr. Prerna Jain and Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed, Faculty Advisor, Technical Society, MNIT Jaipur.

Plantation drive was organized by Vyaktitva srijan club under CACS on 5th September 2017 near Lawn Tennis court.The main motive of plantation drive was to provide greenery near tennis court and encourage students of MNIT towards Plantation and helps them to know the benefit of plantation for eco-friendly environment.

All the members of Vyaktitva Srijan team participated in this Plantation drive and later joined by other

Srijan Soceity) by watering them. Dr. Virendra Singh (Sport Officer) provide full

support by providing us two labors which helps us in plantation. Our team was joined by Prof. Dilip sharma (Dean, Student Welfare & Alumni Affairs), Dr. Arun Kumar Verma (faculty head, Vyaktitva Srijan Club), Dr. Kamlendra Awasthi (faculty head, Vyaktitva Srijan Club) and PhD students.They all appreciated our effort and encouraged us to plant more trees.

Technical Society, CACS organized an Android Workshop to familiarize students with the working and outlook of the Android Apps.The workshop began with teaching to build the simple Hello World program and then gradually progressed towards intricate UI designing and basic Java programming. Students showed Android keen interest in the workshop as the Workshop 09.09.17 CACS things were conveyed in a simple (Technical yet effective manner. Response Society) from the students was really impressing. Lastly, students were also given a project to develop a Weather Application according to the given specifications within coming five days. Three best entries will be rewarded. Proper care was taken for the comfort of the instructors. Gifts were also given to them as a token of appreciation.

The event of Nukkad Natak competition was organized by the Dramatics Society, C.A.C.S. on 15th September, 2017 during the Ozone Week celebrating 30 years of Montreal Protocol. The event was held in front of Annapurna Canteen from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. The competition was open for all Nukkad students of U.G. and P.G. A total of 15.09.17 CACS (Dramatics) 3 teams participated in the competition. Mr. Vinod Soni , a renowned actor of the television and theatre industry was invited to judge the competition. Team Nukkadwale secured first position which had the students of first and second year U.G. students as participants. The competition was very enlightening and informative.

An online event of mad ads competition was conducted by the Dramatics society. Various teams 15.09.17 CACS MAD ADS submitted their mad ad videos (Dramatics promoting Dandiya Nights or any Society) other prop related to it. The results were decided by the audience only, on the basis of number of likes and views on their post.

The Literary Society organized its first event of the semester-an Online Story Writing Competition. The competition was open for all and the students were expected to submit their stories composed Online Story within 1000 words in any of the two Writing languages- Hindi and English. The 15.09.17 CACS Competition story was to be written on any topic (Literary and submitted latest by 15th Society) September 2017. In response, thirty five students submitted their write- ups. The stories were judged on the basis of- literature and vocabulary, expression and clarity, creativity and impact by Dr.Nanny Tripathi and Mrs. Ambika Singh. Technical Society, CACS organized an Industrial Automation Workshop to introduce students to the working and outlook of Industrial Automation. In the workshop, the students were familiarized with complete interface of PLC, HMI, SCADA, AC Drive, AC Motor, Digital I/Os with real industrial applications. Students showed keen interest in the workshop as the Industrial things were conveyed in a simple Automation yet effective manner. The workshop was Society) greatly beneficial as utilizing hardware and software automation increases productivity, safety and profitability. Automation brings many advantages when incorporated properly. Proper care was taken for the comfort of the instructors. Gifts were also given to them as a token of appreciation.

Fine Arts Society of creative Arts and Cultural Society organized a competition "Pot Art" on the 18th September 2017. Students were given two kinds of earthen pots which they had to design according to the given theme that was ‘cultural attire’. About 90 POT ART participants were there amongst 18.9.17 CACS COMPETITIO whom there were students from 1st, N (Fine Arts) 2nd, 3rdyear and even final year students from varied branches were there who actively took part in the event making it a great success. The event aimed at involving students in cultural activities and also the pots prepared could be presented and can be used for decoration purposes.

A cleanliness drive was organized by National Service Scheme-MNIT, Jaipur in the MNIT Campus on September 23rd 2017 and October 2nd 2017, under the aegis of Nationwide Swachhata Abhiyan- 2017 with the “Swachhata hi Sewa 23.09.17 Cleanliness Campaign” from 15th September to - NSS Drive 2nd October 2017. 23rd Campaign 02.12.17 of Swachhata Abhiyan was mainly focused on MNIT Hostels and surrounding areas of Hostels so that a message of cleanliness can be propagate to maximum students of MNIT.

Jaipur visit is being organised every year by Student Mentorship Program (SMP) and this continued this year too with more zeal and excitement. A meeting prior to the visit was 24.9.17 SMP Jaipur Visit arranged wherein we decided the students who would attend the visit, mostly who were regular in meetings were favoured. The visit started at 10 :00 am with around 51 students including a mentor and some submentors,our first destination was Jantar Mantar which is a place where we find many architectural astronomical instruments .There we stayed for around 45 minutes from where we headed off to the most famous Amber Fort where after reaching first we had lunch before entering the fort .After that we entered the fort and stayed there for around two hours where the students saw the architectural beauty of the fort . After enjoying the scenic beauty we went to a nearby garden named Kanak Ghati . There we had interaction with the juniors and even played some games.

On 24th September 2017 륍हारे देश Quiz was organized by the Vyaktitva Srijan Club , CACS. The event was organized to celebrate the auspicious occasion of birth anniversaries of two very esteemed personalities of our country Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. The quiz which 륍हारे देश Quiz was held at VLTC started at 11 (mhare desh AM. 24.09.17 CACS quiz) The dictum of the event was to (Vyaktitva imbibe and inculcate the feelings of Srijan club) Nationalism, Patriotism and respect for the great leaders who fought for our independence in young souls. The competition was open for all U.G. and P.G. students. Total 150 teams participated with two members in each team. Registration desk was also available for on-spot registrations.

The Film & Photography Club organized an orientation program for members of the club on Mon. 25thSept. 2017. Our alumnus Mr. Kartik Gorana and Mr. Shubham Hudda were the guest in program Orientation from Stoned House Films. They Programme shared their experience with the 25.09.17 CACS (Film and students in the field of film making Photography and photography. All the students Society) were introduced with the club and its activities throughout the year and its upcoming events. Mr. Mahesh Swami also shared their experience with the students of photography. Approximately 80attended the program.

A cleanliness drive was organized by National Service Scheme-MNIT, Jaipur in the MNIT Campus on October 2nd 2017 (Monday), under the aegis of Nationwide Swachhata Abhiyan-2017 with the “Swachhata hi Sewa Campaign” from 15th September to 2nd October 2017. drive 02.10.17 CACS Approximately 200 Members of (NSS Society) NSS society along with faculty advisor, Dr. H. P. Tiwari and Dr. Nitin Gupta gathered around 8.00 AM near MNIT dispensary and witness of this Drive. The main motive of this drive was to realise the “Swacch Bharat Abhiyan,” or “Clean Mission,” to honor India’s independence leader, Mahatma Gandhi on the anniversary of his birth. Drive was started with the ‘Swachhata Shapath’. A seminar on Cadaver Organ Donation was organized by National Service Scheme-MNIT, Jaipur in the MNIT Campus on October 4th 2017 (Wednesday). This seminar on Organ Donation was mainly focused on advantage of Organ Donation and to understand society that how one can Seminar by save life of 6-7 other persons after 04.10.17 CACS MFJCF his/her death.. Mr. P. C. Jain, (NSS Society) Retired Asst. General Manager, Punjab National Bank delivered a beautiful presentation on this noble cause. ICICI ATM, MNIT main gate, Roads etc. Dr. H. P. Tiwari and Dr. Nitin Gupta extend their thanks to member of MFJCF Navjeevan for sharing the knowledge of Organ Donation.

It is rightly said, “Tears of a mother cannot save a child, but your blood can.” Keeping this in mind, Vyaktitva Srijan Club decided to Blood helpers launch a program named Blood (Vyaktitva Helpers , an initiative to build a 04.10.17 CACS Srijan Club) database of blood donors that will help in saving lives of those who are in immediate need of blood. The initiative was praised by director sir, our chief guest and by the audience as well.

Technical Society, CACS organized a workshop on embedded system Designing platform Proteus VSM, to familiarize students with the working of microcontrollers using EMBEDDED embedded C and outlook of the SYSTEM software proteus vsm. The DESIGNING workshop began with teaching the PLATFORM students the basics of 28.10.17 CACS PROTEUS VSM microcontrollers and (Technical microprocessors, like for example Society) the difference between microcontrollers and microprocessors , the growing advancements in the technologies related to the fragmentation of the the electronic chips and the scope of this software in almost every field , from medical , information technology to defence. It segregated the workshop into schematic and firmware design that indeed led to measurement and analysis of the output and debugging /diagnostics.

On November 4th, 2017, the Literary Society, MNIT, Jaipur organized "Murder in Our Midst"-a crime-solving spree in which around 90 teams participated, each Murder In Our consisting of 3-5 members. The Midst event consisted of enthusiastic 04.11.17 CACS (Literary participants sprinting around the Society) campus solving riddles and gathering clues to decipher the mystery. The event concluded successfully, instilling a sense of team spirit and logical & analytical reasoning among participants. Mr. Ramakant Sharda, faculty at Jaipur Photographer’s Club (JPC) delivered a guest lecture on ‘Fundamentals of Photography’ to the students on Tue. 07th Nov. 2017. He is specialist in High Speed Guest Lecture Photography and contributed his (Film and work in Times of India & Dainik 07.11.17 CACS Photography Bhaskar also. Approximately 60 Society) students attended his lecture and he gave a session on basics technical skills and editing skills for photography to the students. The session was very helpful for the students and they learnt many new concepts and skills. The Film & Photography Club organized a campus walk of photography on Sat. 11th Nov. 2017. The walk was started at 7:30 am from Annapurna canteen in MNIT Jaipur. There were 30 contestants who came to take part in the photo walk. They were guided along a fixed route in the campus of MNIT, Campus Walk covering all the important locations (Film and in campus. Each contestant 11.11.17 CACS Photography submitted their best 10 photographs Society) that were clicked during the campus walk. A 6 members’ jury was held to shortlist photographs for exhibition. Total 35 photographs were shortlisted among 300 photos and 6 students were announced as winners. All the contestants took part actively. The event was made successful. Participants were offered with refreshment after walk. This was an event organized by the Fine Arts Society showcasing the skill and talent in an individual. Students were given to make doodles depicting the fusion of states. The Ministry of Human Resources Development, govt. of India, initiated a program called “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat Mask painting (EBSB) “under which states on 13.11.17 CACS (Fine Arts opposing corners of the Society) subcontinent share their cultures through creative arts. Hence, the Creative Arts and Cultural Society (CACS) organized the event to help bond with , one of the most beautiful states in the nation. The doodles will be framed using sun board and will be composed to

make an art installation in the campus.

Student Mentorship Program organised Jaipur Visit for the freshers. Students of the various departments and their sub mentors were present for this activity. Each department conducted its Jaipur visit on different days. Students Various reported at 8:30am at PMC & left SMP Jaipur Visit Dates the campus by 9:15 am. The destinations for Jaipur Visit were Amer Fort, Nahargarh Biological Park, Albert Hall Museum & Jawahar Circle. Students were provided with lunch & snacks. At the end students were dropped at their respective hostels by 6:00 pm. The Vyaktitva Srijan Society organised a 3-day Youth Fest from 12 January to 14 January 2018 on account of the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. Many sports, cultural and literary events were organised in this 3-day event. The inauguration ceremony was held in the Mini Auditorium, Prabha Bhawan on 12 January. The great point of attraction was the ‘Kavyanjali’ organised at the time of inauguration ceremony where the skilled poets named “Poonam 12.01.18 Youth Fest Verma”, “Vineet Chauhan” and - CACS (Vyaktitva “Pawan Agri” showed their talent 14.01.18 Srijan Society) by presenting their thoughts in the form of poetries. Many mind games were organised on the first day and there was a depiction of great enthusiasm by the participants. Around 1100 students from different colleges and MNIT participated in all events during these 3 days and contributed to making this event a great success.

The Film & Photography Society organized a trip to Pushkar & Ajmer to provide hands-on experience in film-making to the club members. The trip was started Trip to Pushkar at early morning from MNIT Jaipur. & Ajmer The trip consisted of 2 stops: 27.01.18 CACS (Film & Pushkar & Ajmer. The students Photography) were allowed to go into the city and capture the heart of the city. All the contestants took part actively. The event was made successful. Participants were offered with refreshment during the trip. Quiz is not just a competition but an art that sharpens up your brain and teaches you to choose the correct option in your life. Keeping this in mind Vyaktitva Srijan Society organised General-Quiz, Movie Quiz and Sports Quiz in the Quiz Mania 02.02.18 annual Cultural festival & Fun games - CACS Blitzschlag’18. (Vyaktitva 04.02.18 Srijan Society) The quiz was organised in two rounds. Prelims and Finals. Around 400 students from MNIT and other colleges participated in quizzes. After quizzes some fun games were organized at informal street.

The Film & Photography Club organized MNIT Film Festival during Blitzschlag. There were multiple competitions: MNIT Cut shots, Limitless, Vine-o-Mania 02.02.18 Film and Scribble. The Festival aimed at - CACS Festival encompassing all the aspects of 04.02.18 (Film & cinema and was a big success. Two Photography) industry professionals were also called to deliver a talk on the current nature of cinema and the way it has evolved.

All the three events were organized by fine arts society during Blitzschlag annual college fest. STROKE: A three day live painting competition was held .materials Concevoir, were provided to students.All the 02.02.18 Stroke participants added up life to the - CACS Art carnival dead canvas. 04.02.18 (Fine Arts ART CARNIVAL: Society) Three day exhibition was set up for the very first time during concevoir. A platform which served as a base for students to show up their creativity and hidden talents. The students were awarded for their best works. CONCEVOIR: It is the annual architecture fest organized by fine arts society and Department of architecture and planning mnit during blitzschlag. Under which no.of events, lectures, seminars, competitions and workshops were conducted.

“It’s not that people don't like classical music. It's that they don't have a chance to experience it."

Keeping this in mind BLITZSCHLAG'18organised an evening with a living legend, flautist Flute Shri Dipak Sarma from the state of Performance Assam under "Ek Bharat Shrestha 04.02.18 CACS (Music Dance Bharat" scheme launched by & Spic Macay) MHRD. He is more than an artist- a

performer and a composer, music director and an extraordinary human

being. For his distinguished work and outstanding contribution, he was conferred the Sangeet Prabha award in 2007 and Jams of Assam in 2008. The audience was thoroughly enthralled by his mesmerizing performance by Pt. Dipak Sarma at Mini Auditorium in Prabha Bhawan on 4th Feb.2018, from 6.30 pm onwards. He was accompanied on the Tabla by Shri Kaushi Konwar, who was also from Assam. It was an enjoyable musical evening with such exemplary musicians.

Education is the single most important thing there is in the world. It is quoted that Education is essential part for a better society. To fulfill this aim of all of us as part of Society and including Government, the members of NSS MNIT Jaipur in collaboration with an NGO Naya Sawera started an educational drive in Kunda Basti area of Jaipur for children. Team of NSS, MNIT Jaipur started this project from 5 February 2018 and it will be continue up to April’18. Different volunteers (approx.10 per day of NSS team) comprising of both 1st year and 2nd year B.Tech students are assigned to help the underprivileged students of the Educational Basti in their teaching work. NSS, Drive for MNIT volunteers taught the 05.02.18 CACS Children of children studying in standard 1st to Kunda Basti 11th different subjects like Science, (NSS Society) English, Computer, Maths, Hindi, etc. along with inculcating values and good habits in them. NSS, MNIT volunteers devoted at least two hours per day to this noble cause. Team members also engaged children in some fun activities like painting and playing games to make the learning more friendly and interactive. A fully dedicated computer room was also provided by the NGO which was used to teach the basics of computer software like MS-Word and MS- Paint to the students. The infrastructure like the rooms, stationery and computers was provided by the NGO Naya Sawera which has a dedicated project named 'saksham'.

An awareness tour under the aegis of “Contribution to Surrounding Areas” was organized by NSS MNIT Jaipur on 18th February 2018 in Jeerota village of Sanganer Tehsil, Jagatpura, Jaipur. The main activities which were planned under this awareness program were cleanliness, educational, medical, internet banking, sanitation knowledge and etc. The drive saw appreciable participation from the students of the institute. AWARENESS All the registered NSS members TRIP under the visited the village and helped in aegis of cleaning the area as well as making 18.02.18 CACS “Contribution to the residents of the village aware of Surrounding the importance of cleanliness. The Areas students briefed the people about (NSS Society) how clean surroundings help in the prevention of diseases especially during the monsoon. Students’ aware village resident about the importance of medical familiarity.

The students of Dramatics Society participated in the Inter college cultural fest of S.K.I.T., Jaipur and secured first position in the Nukkad Natak Competition. The students performed the nukkad named “Sab Theek Hai” highlighting the stigmas Inter College and myths related to mental health Nukkad 23.02.18 CACS Competition Participation (Dramatics)

The Fine Arts Society had organised Block Printing Workshop and Competition on 4th March 2018 under the programme of “Ek Bharath Shrestha Bharath” (MHRD event) . The event was held to explain the beautiful combination of RED and WHITE in an “Assamese Gamucha” and utilise it in the block printing techniques of Rajasthan. A workshop was given on the “Traditional Block Printing Art of Rajasthan” and followed by a Block Printing competition to Design a block by 04.03.18 CACS Competition carving out in soap and using it to (Fine Arts “Create Assamese Patterns” on Society) cloth.

The famous Stage play “ALA AFSAR” by the renowned theatre artists of Jaipur city was organized by the Dramatics society in the mini auditorium. The play was a nautanki depicting various aspects Stage play of corruption in our country in a 05.03.18 CACS performance very comic way. Over 150 students (Dramatics) enjoyed the play and the efforts were appreciated by the faculty members and our guests Dr. Nivedita Koul, Dr. Madhu Agarwal, Mrs. Kiran Rathod and Dr. Reeta Singh.

The photography section of Film & Photography club, organised a Photography Competition on theme- Culture of Assam & Rajasthan, for Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat under MHRD. Entries were invited from all students and top 20 photographs were shortlisted for Photography exhibition among 300 photographs. Competition 17.03.18 CACS th th Dr Rajesh Kumar Vyas (Asst. (17 – 19 Director- Department of March 2018) Information and Public Relation, Govt. of Rajasthan)was the judge for the competition. Total 4 photographs were announced as winner (2 from Assam & 2 from Rajasthan) and awarded with cash prizes and certificates.

A cleanliness drive was organized by National Service Scheme-MNIT, Jaipur on March 17th 2018, under the aegis of 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' in the SMS Hospital Jaipur during the morning hours 9 AM to 11 AM. The event saw participation of more than 50 students registered in the NSS wing of MNIT Jaipur. All the participants were provided with masks, gloves, brooms and dustpans to carry out the necessary cleaning at different locations within the hospital. The students Cleanliness were divided into three groups and Drive in SMS 17.03.18 CACS sent to various places along with the hospital required equipment. (NSS Society) The first group went to the CHARAKH BHAWAN and removed the waste from its premises. The second group cleaned the corridors. They also lent a hand in cleaning the corridors and nearby areas of various gardens of the hospital. The third group undertook cleaning in and around the hospital thereby collecting and dumping the plastic waste including bottles, wrappers, etc. The drive was a huge success and the response of the participants was very appreciable and inspiring.

The Dramatics Society MNIT Jaipur organised the event "TAKE- 2" on 12 March 2018. The event was basically enacting a popular movie scene with some creative modifications in the scene or situation. There were interesting performances by the teams and the results were declared.

To mark the ending of Navaratri, Vyaktitva Srijan club organized Kanya bhoj on 24/03/18 at MNIT temple. Kanya Bhoj 24.03.18 CACS (Vyaktitva Around 60 girls from kunda basti Srijan Society) attended kanya bhoj. All the students from club, some faculty and P.hd scholars were present there for their contribution in this good work

The Dramatics Society MNIT Jaipur performed the play "KHAT" at Utkraant - Annual Theatre Festival, Manipal University Jaipur on 29 March 2018. The story leads us through the uncertainty of survival at borders, the unending hope of a mother and the pain of separated love which is all inked in UTKRAANT, the series of letters. The play was 29.03.18 CACS MUJ very much appreciated by the (dramatics) audience and the judges.

The Literary Society of MNIT organized "Story Writing Competition" on taking themes from Assam under the programme of “Ek Bharath Shrestha Bharath” (MHRD event) on 8th April 2018. The students participated with zeal and enthusiasm. Through the Story Writing competition, students came to know Competition about Assamese culture while 08.04.18 CACS (Literary interacting with students from Society) Assam. It thus helps in serving the cause of Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat – uniting the people on opposite parts of the country. Entries for the story writing were received in English. Students put forward their views vehemently through the stories. The event was held with dedication and enthusiasm.

A felicitation program was organized by the dramatics society in order to appreciate the efforts and various memorable performances of Felicitation the students and the faculty 19.04.18 CACS program members for their constant support. (Dramatics)
