Day 5: Devils Day 9:00-10:00: Warmups 10:00-11:00: Drill Stations ● Coach K Station: Contested shooting practice o Set one player under the key as a defender. The rest of the players will line up at the baseline furthest away from the hoop. The player at the front of the line will dribble towards the free throw line, before pulling up for a jump- shot. The defender under the key will step up to contest the shot. Emphasize shooting form. ● Station: Between the legs/hesitation dribble o Set up two normal lay-up lines. Put a cone at the high elbow before the ball- handler. Have him perform a between the legs move, followed by hesitation dribble, finished with a drive to the basket for a lay-up. Emphasize sealing off with your outside foot ● Station: Post-up lessons/ up-and-under o Instruct the players on how to properly post-up for a pass. After, set up a line at the baseline, and a line at the 3-point line. The coach will stand at the low-block. The player at the baseline will post- up the coach at the low-block to receive a pass. Once the player receives the pass, they will perform a up-and-under move on the coach. Emphasize using your pivot foot. ● Kyrie Irving Station: V-Cut/L-Cut/Backdoor Cut o Set up a line on the wing-side of the 3-point-line, the coach will stand at the top of the 3-point line. Have the kids preform V-cuts, the coach will pass the ball once they complete it. Once the kids get the idea, add a defender to increase difficulty. Emphasize shifting your feet, pushing off, showing your hands, and setting your feet for the shot 11:00-11:15: Snack #1

11:15-12:00: Scrimmage ● We will separate the group into 4-6 teams (depending on amount of kids) ● 2 games will run at once. Each game will have a coach assigned to each team, and a referee. ● Questions to ask after games: o How much have you improved over this week? o How is your Sportsmanship?

12:00-12:30 Lunch

12:30-1:00: Talk

1:00-1:45: Swimming o Monitor the kids as they change in the locker-room. Prevent any inappropriate language or contact. Make sure the kids do NOT run around the pool. o For the kids unwilling or unable to swim, they will go outside with a specified coach to play outside. 1:45-2:00: Snack #2 2:00-3:00: Outside Performance ● Freeze tag
