3101 HILLSBORO STREET Player of the Week

PAUL M. BRANDENBURG . . .Senior . . “6—5 . . 185 lbs. . .New York City, N. Y. One of the best clutch players on the State squad, Brandenburg has been used primarily as a reserve at both forward and guard. He is particularly valuable when the Wolfpack team needs to play possession basketball and Coach Case often calls on him in this capacity. He won several games for Wolfpack in overtime periods and twice has been the man who whipped Duke’s Blue Devils in overtime sessions at Durham, N. C. Works hard off both offensive and defensive backboards and has a good push-shot. Great change- of—pace dribbler and can be expected to see plenty of service this season. Has earned monogram for two years on State varsity and has come through with many clutch performances. Enrolled in Rural and Industrial Recreation. Prepped at Port Rich- mond, N. Y. High under‘Coach Lou Trella at Staten Island, N. Y. Son of Mr. and Mrs. William Brandenburg, 64 Burnside Ave., Staten Island, N. Y.
