Password Monkey – those guys from Munich, Germany are, despite their love for beer, not at all about folk music and Oktoberfest: Classic hard rock music is the foundation of every single note played. No matter whether on stage or on record, their sound satisfies with a mix of melodic classic rock and modern alternative styles. Solid bass lines, driving rock grooves, fat guitar riffs, wild solos and a strong powered voice shake the earth and let hearts beat faster. This is the essence of what Hard Rock must deliver nowadays - it’s handmade, it’s authentic, it’s pure emotion!

Kicking it off in 2016, their first full length album Chained in 2017 wasn’t a long time coming. Mixed and mastered by Nils Lesser of Cypecore, the album got its modern punch that kicks you right off the chair. Besides their sold-out release show at Strom Munich, they proudly shared the stage with bands like Marco Mendoza (Dead Daisies, Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake), UMC and Bananafishbones. The year ended well, as they were awarded Best Hard Rock Band at the 35th German Rock and Pop Awards. Their first two singles Freeman and Touch the Sky could be heard on radio stations like Rock Antenne and Bayrischer Rundfunk.

With the help of their fans, a successful crowd-funding campaign will finance the production of their next full-length album that is already in the making. Password Monkey is looking forward to the planned album release in 2019, German tour support for Inglorious and a bunch of festival shows that will round off this awesome and exciting year.
