Indiana University first fielded its men’s basketball team in 1901 and held basketball games in Assembly Hall until 1917. From 1917 until 1928 the Indiana Hoosiers team played in the Men’s Gymnasium. George Levis served as the basketball coach from 1921 to 1922 and was replaced by Leslie Mann who coached from 1922 to 1924. Mann was then replaced by Everett Dean as the head coach in 1924.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This collection consists of photographs of the Indiana University Hoosiers basketball team. Folder 1 contains a mounted picture of the 1922-1923 team. Folder 2 contains labeled paper prints. The prints include the 1921-1922, 1922-1923, and 1923-1924 teams.
