    Attorney Bio Michael Potraffke Michael is senior counsel in WSHB’s Denver office, handling complex litigation involving personal injury, professional liability, product liability, premises Senior Counsel liability, employment, defamation, construction, claims and matters involving state governmental immunity acts and governmental tort liability, and various commercial disputes on behalf of clients and insurers. Michael also defends employers before state and federal agencies, including in response to charges of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination and wage and hour violations. He is likewise well-versed in intellectual property matters and business transactions, and enjoys zealously representing defendants of all sizes, from small, family-owned companies to large corporations. In addition, Michael assists our national insurance coverage practice by advising and representing domestic and international insurers on first-party property (Homeowner’s and Commercial), commercial general liability, construction defect, and professional errors and omission claims, including the interpretation of policy provisions and exclusions and first-party bad faith claims. His experience also includes providing complex insurance coverage opinions regarding construction defect losses as well as commercial trucking catastrophic losses involving multiple insurers and policies. Denver Michael earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in 2009 with 1805 Shea Center Drive majors in English and Political Science and a minor in music studies. The venue is located in Bloomington, Indiana, on the campus of Indiana University. At over 40,000 students, Indiana University is the largest university in the state. In addition to hosting entertainment events and presidential candidates, Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall is home to many sporting events and tournaments for Indiana University and the Big Ten Conference, including the five time National Champion men’s basketball program. Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall features a 17,222-seat arena, suites, offices, locker rooms, dressing rooms, a merchandise store, a ticket office, and an arena concourse. A MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF UNIVERSITY EVENTS Welcome to Indiana University and Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall, home of the Indiana Hoosiers men’s and women’s basketball teams. Opening in 1971, this iconic venue has played host to well over six million fans, with events ranging from college basketball games to the entertainment industry’s top tours. Beautiful renovations to the venue in 2016 solidifies Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall’s reputation as “the Carnegie Hall of basketball.” The entertainment industry’s greats, including Bob Dylan, Dave Matthews, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, John Mellencamp, Journey, and more, have dazzled fans on the campus of Indiana University over the years. We have also been thrilled to host presidential candidates, Olympic trials, and the Dalai Lama. While our beautiful and historic venue is enough reason to visit Bloomington, we are eager to impress you with our service.

    STATE SOLO & ENSEMBLE INFORMATION - VOCAL & PIANO EVENTS PERRY MERIDIAN HIGH SCHOOL AND MIDDLE SCHOOL All times are E.S.T. (Indianapolis time) All Vocal Events will be held at Perry Meridian High School, 401 W. Meridian School Road. All Piano Events will be held at Perry Meridian Middle School, 202 W. Meridian School Road, on the north side of the street. MAPS & SCHEDULES: Directors: Give your students a copy of the building map along with the schedule! NOTE: Vocal Warm-up rooms and Performance rooms will be located on both the First and Second floors. A Teacher Workroom will be available to directors at PMHS in room 11M (located across from the cafeteria). PARKING: Parking for this event is very limited. Please make arrangements to carpool or travel in vans and minibuses to limit the number of vehicles at the site. Parking at Perry Meridian H.S. is available on the East side of the building, and parking at Perry Meridian M.S. on the South side of the building. PLEASE, NO PARKING ALONG THE STREET! Additional parking at Perry Meridian Middle School is available to assist with overflow from Vocal events at the High School. Please park only in areas designated for parking. No parking on grass, street, or where prohibited. No parking in fire lanes. Illegally parked vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense. BUSES: Students may be dropped off on the East Side of Perry Meridian High School and enter through the Main Entrance (#1). After drop-off, buses will be directed to park on the North and West side of Perry Meridian H.S.
