Yrs 4/5/6 Hockey Approximately 30 children attended this club over the 4 weeks. This is the first time the Hockey Club has taken place on our fantastic new Astro with a special hockey surface. The astro was only finished at the end of the summer term . Children were taught the skills needed to play hockey and take it into a competition on the last week. Years 5/6 will get a further opportunity to try out their hockey skills in the Spring Term with the School Games Quicksticks Hockey Festival and some children competing for a chance to play in the East Devon finals. West Hill have done very well in this event for the last couple of years

Years 4/5/6 This Girl Can Approximately 40 girls have tried out the activities in our This Girl Can this term. They were given opportunities to try out trampolin- ing, work on their ball skills with the Exeter chiefs, be part of a Street Dance workshop, and try out some different sports and other ways to keep physically active. It has been fantastic seeing the en- thusiasm and energy from these girls. Look out for events in the Spring Term.

The picture here is of the girls who attended the trampoline club which was kindly run by one of the PE staff at King’s school. Some of our year 7’s came along to make up the numbers and year 10 students helped out.
