Do you want to be part of the start-up of a new biomass power plant in Tilbury, (Tilbury Docks, , Essex)?

Do you have extensive knowledge and experience of biomass or thermal power plant processes? Would you like to take on the role as Shift Team Leader where safety and quality is of highest importance? Then this could be an exciting opportunity for you.

WBOC who is the operator of Tilbury Green Power Plant, is seeking applications from qualified and experienced plant operators for the post of Shift Team Leader (STL).

Safety first Applicants must have experience in power plant or power plant related operations ie boiler, combustion systems, high pressure steam and water systems, steam turbines , water treatment etc. Knowledge of biomass handling or waste to energy is also very relevant. Applications from ex-merchant marine engineering and operating staff are welcome. Knowledge and experience of Safe Systems of Work is also important as the STL will have responsibility for Permit to Work procedures. Applications are particularly welcome from people living within a 30 mile radius of the plant or alternatively from those who are willing to relocate to the locality. Tilbury Green Power Plant is owned by Tilbury Green Power, and operated by Western Biomass Operating Company Ltd. (WBOC)
