Getting Prepared for UC Campuses:

There are 10 UC campuses:  Complete 60 transferrable units by the end of Spring term for Fall admission, and by the end of summer term for winter or spring Berkeley admission that must include: Davis  Written Communication  Critical Thinking /Second year of English Irvine  A UC Transferrable Math Course  Pre-requisite courses for your major (see Assist.org and plan the Los Angeles courses with a counselor)  General Education: 7 course GE Pattern or Merced Completing Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum Riverside (IGETC) - IGETC is not required for admission, but some UC campuses and programs require completion of 37 units of IGETC . Note: It is recommended not to complete IGETC for the high unit majors such as Engineering . There is also IGETC for STEM programs that Santa Barbara only applies to Biology and Chemistry programs.  Earn Minimum GPA in Transferrable courses: Santa Cruz  Minimum GPA of 2.4  Minimum of 2.8 for non-residents Note: the GPA requirements depends on the average GPA of applicants’ UC offers graduate pool of that year.
