(KENNINGTONAND SOUTH HINKSEY) (SPEEDLIMITS)ORDER20** NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that OxfordshireCounty Council proposes to makethe above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. This is arevised consultation following input from various parties with interest in the first proposals. The revised order will update and replace the existing OxfordshireCounty Council (Kennington and South Hinksey) (Speed Limits) Order 2014, the effects being as follows: a) The section of the A423 dual-carriageway(southern ring road) from the A34/HinkseyHill roundabout will be reduced to 50mph through to HeyfordHill roundabout, b) Kennington Road -the northern, end currently unrestricted will be reduced to 40mph from the existing village 30 limit to Old Abingdon Road, c) The northern slip road from Hinkseyhill on and off the A423 forKennington (currentlyunrestricted) will be reduced to 40mph meeting up with existing 30pmh limits, d) The southern slip road from off the A423 to/from Kennington (currentlyunrestricted) will be reduced to 50mph meeting up with existing 30pmh limit.
