COUNTY COUNCIL 1. (KENNINGTON AND SOUTH ) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20** 2. (, A4142 AND A423 EASTERN AND SOUTHERN BYPASS AND A4074 SANDFORD ON THAMES BYPASS) (50 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 20**

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. This is a renewed consultation following input from various interested parties. The proposed orders will update and replace the existing Oxfordshire County Council (Kennington and South Hinksey) (Speed Limits) Order 2014, and the Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford, A4142 and A423 Eastern and Southern Bypass and A4074 Sandford-on- Thames) (50 Mph Speed Limit) Order 2019 with the following effects:

a) The A423 dual-carriageway (southern ring road) from the A34 / roundabout will be reduced to 50mph through to Heyford Hill roundabout; b) The slip roads serving Kennington village to/from the A423 (currently unrestricted) will be reduced to 50mph on the south side slip road and 40mph on the north side; c) Kennington Road - the northern end currently unrestricted will be reduced to 40mph southwards from Old Abingdon Road.

Objections to the proposal, specifying the grounds on which they are made and any other representations should be sent in writing to the address below no later than 01 November 2019. The County Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
