Integrated Sport Foundation Year We offer eight sport degrees with an integrated foundation year. PRE-SESSIONAL COURSES Our pre-sessional courses will help Leeds Beckett students achieve the required level of English to study one of our undergraduate or postgraduate degrees. As well as developing English language skills, our pre- sessional courses are a great way to increase students’ confidence and to discover UK university culture as they prepare for their degree.

Foundation Applicants should have completed high school qualifications in their country

Undergraduate Applicants should be educated to a standard comparable to British A level

Postgraduate Applicants will normally need a qualification that is comparable to a first or second class British Bachelor degree MPhil PhD Applicants should have a Masters degree or research experience in an appropriate discipline

English language requirements To be successful at Leeds Beckett University, students will need to have a good level of English. Most of our degrees require a minimum IELTS score of 6.0, with no skill less than 5.5. We also accept a range of other qualifications to evidence English language ability.

Annual tuition fees will depend on the course and the level of study. If an applicant is from outside the EU, half of their fees will need to be paid before they apply for their CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies), and the rest must be paid within three months of starting their course.

RESPOND TO CONDITIONS OF OFFERS

VIEW OFFER LETTERS AND MANAGE RESPONSES TO OFFERS APPLYING FOR A CAS NUMBER

Applicants requiring a Tier 4 visa will need to apply for a Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS) number. We start issuing CAS numbers three months before the applicant’s course start date. We rely on you to support applicants and our international team when we start issuing CAS numbers.

STEPS TO RECEIVE A CAS

1. Complete and send us a CAS Request Form We also need a copy of the applicant’s passport details and evidence of any previous UK visas and/or visa refusal or curtailment letters.

2. Applicants must pay 50% of their first-year course fees Applicants will need to provide us with a receipt of payment or evidence that they are a sponsored student or have a loan.

3. Evidence of minimum funds To issue a CAS we need to see evidence that applicants have the minimum funds required, including maintenance and remaining course fees. We will require copies of financial documents, such as bank statements and bank letters, unless the applicant is from a country on the UKVI’s Appendix H list.
