11 Location of SBBUVAS Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences is situated in Sakrand taluka of District Shaheed Benazirabad, Sindh, about 18 kms west of Nawabshah city and is at 15 minutes drive from Nawabshah airport. It is 270 kms from Karachi and 100 kms from Hyderabad in the north. Sakrand can be accessed by national highway N5. Sakrand is hub of agriculture and livestock production and has a number of agricultural research and training institutes.
