Official Dress Code Policy

Effective April 2019: State Leadership Conference

General Sessions - Business Session – Workshops – Career Development Events Recognition

• Professional white shirt

• Neckwear options can include the neckwear from the official emblematic supplier; black bow tie; single strand of pearls; res, black, and/or white scarf; or no neckwear

• Black bottoms (slacks, skirt, sheath dress)

• Shoes (black preferred)

• FCCLA red blazer

• Jeans, t-shirt, athletic wear are NOT acceptable

Exception: Culinary Arts participants are welcome to wear their chef’s attire during the CDE Recognition Sessions.

Advisers/Chaperones/Guests

• Business professional

• Jeans, t-shirt, athletic wear are NOT acceptable

Career Development Events Participants

CDE participants are expected to adhere to the publicized dress code for all general sessions, workshops, and the CDES Recognition Session. For participation in competition, follow event specifications for dress, and wear appropriate clothing for the nature of the presentation, be prepared to change into clothing that meets conference dress code. Official Culinary Uniform for Culinary State Events Policy

All members competing in the State Culinary Career Development Events must be in Official Chef’s attire in 2018. To meet the branding specifications all uniforms must be purchased through the national Office approved vendor Chef works.

National FCCLA has partnered with Chef Works, the leading manufacturer and distributor of chef clothing and uniforms for restaurants and hotels worldwide, to provide branded culinary apparel for FCCLA members and advisers at a discounted price.

The OHIO package includes: $36.00 (FCCLA logo only no additional embroidery.) Please have a Copy of the schools Tax Exempt Cert so accounting department can process
