• Finished third in his Pace elimination behind Southwind Gendry and Lawless Shadow on a sloppy track, only his second career loss. He has post one in the final at odds of 7-2 on the morning line.

• In a PASS division at The Meadows on June 26, prior to his Pace elimination, he finished second to Rockyroad Hanover, but was placed first when Rockyroad was disqualified for interference.

• “I believe (the race against older horses on June 19th at the Meadowlands) took a toll on him,” opined Miller. “He went to The Meadows the next week and he still finished second. It wasn’t like he stopped and finished fifth. He got beat a length. The horse had every right. I’m not disappointed in him at all, I think he’s a great horse.”

• “It’s time to start asserting his dominance, that for sure,” said Holloway. “It’s time for him to step up his game and move ahead of the class. I have confidence in him.”

• Took his mark of 1:48.1 against older horses at the Meadowlands on June 19th after being scratched sick on May 30 and winning a Big M qualifier on June 5 in a sizzling 1:48.4.

• Began his sophomore campaign with his first career loss, a second place finish to Abuckabett Hanover in a 1:50 division of PASS on May 16th at Harrah’s Philadelphia.

• As a freshman, he won his Breeders Crown elimination by three lengths and was involved in the first ever Breeders Crown deadheat for win in 1:50.2 with Summa Cum Laude. He romped in his elimination in 1:50.4.

• Perfect Sting carved out a perfect ten-for-ten freshman season in 2020. He swept the Kentucky Sires Stakes Series, took a division of the Bluegrass in 1:50 and took a mark of 1:49.4 in the International Stallion Stakes at The Red Mile.

• "The mare deserved to have a great horse," trainer Holloway said when asked to describe Perfect Sting. “He’s tougher than his mother, but he’s as fast as his mother. And he could live as long as his father,” Holloway said. “Miki had a big set of lungs. (Perfect Sting is a) pretty good combination of both of them.”

• “He’s all play. In the morning, he’s tough to handle because all he wants to do is play and he doesn’t get tired. He’s light on his feet. He’s got it all… He’s good-looking, he’s good-gaited, he’s sound and he’s fast and he’s tough.” - Holloway

• Hall of Fame driver David Miller is looking for his second Pace win. His previous win came in 2018 with Courtly Choice. 2021 marks the 26th anniversary of Miller’s first ever Pace drive in 1995 with Cinder Lane Sam, who rallied in :26 flat from post ten to finish fifth.

Miller added new chapters to his Hall of Fame legacy in 2020 by passing 13,000 career wins (fourth all time) and the $250 million career milestone (second all-time and current the richest active driver).
