Cardiff Welcomes Home Manic Street Preachers with Sell-Out Gig
There is nothing like a homecoming concert to get a band’s fans to turn out in massive numbers, and Cardiff is set to welcome some of its favourite sons home this May. On 21 May 2011 fans will see world-famous rockers the Manic Street Preachers return to their alma mater and play a sold-out concert at Cardiff’s International Arena.
April 17, 2011 (FPRC) -- Throughout a stunningly successful career the Manics have grown a fan base around the world in the millions, but this May it is their local followers who will get to see them play their classic hits and a few numbers from their forthcoming new album.
The band, which is renowned for hits like ‘Motorcycle Emptiness’, ‘From Despair to Where’ and ‘Everything Must Go’, will play to around 7,500 fans in Cardiff and tickets for the concert are rightly being considered gold dust by music fans from around the UK.
Since many concertgoers are expected to head to Cardiff early and make a weekend of the concert, the choice of a hotel in Cardiff could be somewhat limited. As such the smart Manics fan is looking to book a hotel close to the Cardiff International Arena online at the same time as booking their concert ticket itself.
