All of the camera controls are available at your fingertips creating the perfect balance between automatic and manual control. Aperture-Priority AE vs. Program AE: Two AE Modes In addition to the conve ntional exposure mode in med ium format cameras. in which priority is given to aperture, the RF645 also features a new Program AE mode. Failsafe Feature To Prevent Film Exposure A major difficulty in creating an interchangeable lens with built-in shutter is that the camera body construction must prevent the fi lm from being exposed when switching lenses. The lens removal and attachment mechanism activates a li ght shi eldi ng curtain to automaticall y cover the fil m surface.
