INTRUSIVE AND NON-INTRUSIVE PROJECTS
Intrusive support is defined as binding the ship in time and space. Request for support from the Royal Danish Navy for an intrusive project (with or with out finance) is through DANISH CENTER FOR MARITIME RESEARCH.
Non-intrusive support is defined as assistance done en route while patrolling and with great flexibility of time. Application for support from the Royal Danish Navy for a non-intrusive project is through ISAAFFIK.ORG.

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT
• Support in remote areas without commercial infrastructure.
• Cost free for the Danish Defense.
• Cancellation of support can happen with little notice due to operational tasks and weather.
• All support is executed given that permits and other documents are obtained and in order.

Thank you so much for lots of feedback –and lots of it was very positive and constructive. Over all the applications process seams to work well and the support executed satisfactorily. Flexibility on both sides seems to be praised from both JACO and the Science community .

Station Nord som grænseovergangssted
Forsvarets Station Nord i Nordøstgrønland er den 29. juli 2019 godkendt som grænseovergangssted af Udlændinge- og Integrationsministeriet.
Indrejse: Senest 8 dage før forventet indrejse på Station Nord fremsender transportøren følgende for administrativ prækontrol: - En endelig liste over passagerer, der ønsker at indrejse. - Et scan af passenes oplysningsside samt scan af eventuelle viseringer for indrejse i Grønland. Dokumenterne sendes til Grønlands Politi.
Senest 4 dage før forventet indrejse, vil man modtage afslag, såfremt en eller flere passagerer ikke kan godkendes. Ved ankomst til Station Nord foretages dokument- og identifikationskontrol af passagererne. Såfremt oplysninger fra præ-kontrollen ikke stemmer overens med dokument- og identifikationskontrollen på stedet, kan en indrejsende afvises og transportøren pålægges at tage personen retur.

Udrejse: Ved udrejse foretages en sammenligning mellem passagererne og den fremsendte passagerliste samt en dokumentkontrol af fremviste papirer. Derved sikres det, at der kun udrejser personer, som er anført på listen.
Vær opmærksom på:
● Inden indrejse til Station Nord skal der altid søges om tilladelse ved Arktisk Kommando for både forskere og transportør. Derudover skal der søges tilladelse ved Departementet for Natur og Miljø ved Grønlands Selvstyre for ophold i Nationalparken ved ophold på mere end 24 timer.
● Ikke-Schengen borgere skal i nogle tilfælde have et særligt visum før indrejse i Grønland. Dette fås på en dansk ambassade
