"Technological breakthrough and potential opportunities of the EAEU countries"

The strategic direction of the Eurasian partnership is to create additional cumulative opportunities in the united economic space for attracting new, cutting-edge, creative technologies, innovations,as well as highly qualified professionals for production of competitive products in world markets. For these purposes, the EAEU countries need to jointly review industrial standards and develop a coordinated policy for innovations application and technological exchange. Integration should become an advantage for the five countries of the Union on the way to a qualitative industrial leap.

Discussion questions • Are the countries of the Union ready to respond to the challenges of the new industrial revolution? • How can the integration help each of the Union countries remain competitive in the economy of the future? • What measures need to be taken at the supranational level to mobilize the process of technologies transfer? • What areas of cooperation of the EAEU enterprises are seen as promising from the perspective of cooperation potential and from the point of view of import substitution in high- tech industries? • Are there any proposals from a high-tech industrial businesses to increase cooperative production potential of the EAEU? • How to find a mechanism for consolidation of interests of large, medium and small businesses and secure subcontracting?

Within the framework of the session Hi-Tech industrial companies will present projects planned for implementation, as well as their needs and areas, where other enterprises can be involved in their production.
