I. Introduction This information note is to assist you in the preparation for your trip to Dalian, Province, China to participate in the International Workshop on Service Producer Price Index held from 26 to 28 June 2019.

The Workshop is organized by the National Bureau of Statistics of China (NBS).

II. Working Language The working language of the Workshop will be English.

III. Venue The Workshop will be held at New World Dalian Hotel.

IV. Registration Registration for the Workshop will start at 10:00, Sunday, 25 June 2019 at the registration desk in the lobby of New World Dalian Hotel. Participants are requested to register and obtain meeting badges at the registration.

Participants not register on 25 June are requested to register and get the meeting badges at the entrance of Grand Ballroom on the 2nd floor of the Hotel from 08:15 to 08:50 in the morning on 26 June 2019.

1 V. Accommodation

NBS of China will be responsible for reserving rooms for all the funded international participants at the hotel.

VII. Local Information A: Arrival at the Airport

2 Participants should make their own transportation arrangements from Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport to New World Dalian Hotel. Taxis, airport shuttles and airport express (subway) are available at the Airport. Payment should be made in Chinese currency, (RMB), for which foreign currency may be exchanged through authorized counters at the airport. It is about 30 minutes’ drive from the Airport to the hotel.

Estimated cost of taxi fare from Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport to the hotel is around RMB 40 Yuan (about 14 kilometers).
