Lydia McGuinness | Represented by Susannah Norris Lydia most recently filmed the role of Eleanor alongside Jamie Dornan in the feature WILD MOUNTAIN THYME directed by John Patrick Shanley.
Lydia has worked extensively in Film and TV, with screen credits including RTÉ’s LOVE/HATE, created by Stuart Carolan, the role of Peggy in REBELLION opposite Barry Ward, directed by Aku Louhimies, as well as John Carney’s Golden Globe nominated SING STREET, Naomi Sheridan's WE HAVE EACH OTHER, Mark O’Connor’s CARDBOARD GANGSTERS, and Mark O’Rowe’s THE DELINQUENT SEASON, opposite Cillian Murphy. In 2017 Lydia was awarded Best Actress at the Dublin Short Film and Music Festival for her role in Naomi Sheridan’s WE HAVE EACH OTHER. She also co-wrote, co- directed and starred in the short film HER NAME IS… which premiered at the 2018 Galway Film Fleadh. Lydia trained with the full time Screen Acting Programme at The Factory (subsequently Bow Street Academy), a creative hub for film-makers established by Jim Sheridan and John Carney.
Lydia has bases both in London and Dublin.
