Како таквата двојазичност влијаеше во развојот на современото украинско општество, особено во процесот на градење на украинската нација? Дали двојазичноста е пречка или предизвик во градењето на моноцентрична украинска нација? Колку таквата двојазичност е генератор на перманентна криза во украинското општество, вклучително во контекст на последните драматични случувања во оваа постсоветска република? Ова се само дел од прашањата на кои ќе се направи обид да се одговори во овој труд. Клучни зборови: јазик, двојазичност, поделено општество, Украина, градење на нација; Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to analyze the linguistic situation in Ukrainian society, which from the dissolution of the Soviet Union is characterized by a strong element of bilingualism. How this bilingualism influenced the development of modern Ukrainian society, especially in the `building’ of the Ukrainian nation? Is bilingualism an obstacle or challenge for building monocentric Ukrainian nation? How much the bilingualism is a generator of permanently crisis in Ukrainian so- ciety, including in light of the recent dramatic developments in this post-Soviet republic? These are some of the questions that will try to be answered in this paper. Key words: language, bilingualism, divided society, Ukraine, nation building; Во Веберовото поимање за нацијата, јазикот отсекогаш го имал примарното значење, во контекст на културниот фактор како еден од трите значајни фактори, напоредно со политичкиот и психолошкиот, како клучни супстрати кои влијаат врз формирањето на нацијата.1 Од друга страна, ваквите размислувања може да останат контрадикторни сами по себе, ако се знае дека во современоста, постојат културни групи кои имаат различен јазик, но остануваат да коегзистираат во рамките на единствена политичка структура, односно единствена нација. По распадот на Советскиот Сојуз, јазичната ситуација во Украина, беше карактеризирана со сеопшто владеење на украинскиот и рускиот јазик и првенствено користење на овие јазици од еднаков број на граѓани2. Украинското општество во јазична смисла, беше сочинето од монолингвални (русофони и украинофони говорители), билингвални и т.н суржик3 – говорители. Ако јазикот е еден од индикаторите за постоење на нацијата, повеќе од две децении од независното егзистирање на современата украинска држава, само по себе се наметнува прашањето дали при една ваква лингвистичка опстановка постои украинската нација? Одговорот на ова прашање може да се пронајде во ставовите на поранешниот американски амбасадор во Советскиот Сојуз, Џек Метлок, искажани на неговиот блог, а во врска со последната политичката криза со која се соочува оваа постсоветска република: 1 Weber, Max, Nation во зборникот: Hutchinson, Jhon & Anthony, D., Shith, eds., Nationalism, Ohford University Press, Oxford New York, 1994, (str. 21-25). 2 Според украинскиот социолог, Виктор Гродјаненко, украинофони се првенствено западните и централните региони на земјата со околу 24 милиона жители, додека југо-истокот на Украина со 27, 5 милиона жители е претежно русофон; види Городяненко В. Г. «Особенности языковой ситуации в Украине». 3 Станува збор за назив со цел да означи лица кои говорат еден вид на мешавина од руски и украински јазик, алудирајќи на прочуениот леб суржик кој се прави од мешавина од пченично брашно и некој друг вид на житно - зрнесто растение. 25.04.2014 год. 7 | страна «МЕЃУНАРОДЕН ДИЈАЛОГ: ИСТОК - ЗАПАД (КУЛТУРА, СЛАВЈАНСТВО И ЕКОНОМИЈА)» „Факт - Украина е држава, но сеуште не е нација. За 22 години не бeше пронајден лидер кој можеше да ги консолидира граѓаните во рамките на украинскиот идентитет. Тоа што се случува не треба да се разгледува, како руско вмешување, чија последица беше расчленувањето на украинскиот народ, бидејќи земјата предходно беше образувана по безсистемен принцип од делови кои не беа заемно сврзливи“.4 Тука пред сѐ, се алудира на Источна Украина, која уште во 17 век со одлуката од Пријаслев (1654), на запорошките козаци, предводени од Богдан Хмељницки, беше припоена кон Руската империја додека западниот дел со векови беше под контрола на Полска и Австро-Унгарија. Овие историски собитија, многумина во украинските националистички кругови, ги сметаат за судбоносни по однос на неможноста за пораното реализирање на укранската национална идеја, вклучително и во контекст на зачувување на нивниот украински јазичен идентитет, бидејќи јазикот го зборуваа само руралните слоеви, а со два декрета од страна на рускиот цар системски и целенасочено беше прогонуван и официјално забрануван во Руската империја. Еден од водечките украински националисти, лавовјанката Ирина Фарион, која рускиот политички деец, Валерија Новодворскаја ја опиша како „паметен човек, тврд филолог, приврзаник на традициите на УПА5“6, во едно свое обраќање во Лавовската месна Рада, неможноста за пораното историско `зреење’ на украинската нација го поистовети токму со историските премрежја од пред цели три века: „започнувајќи уште во ерата на средновековието со големиот Данте и неговата Боженствена комедија, напишана не на латински, туку на тоскански дијалект, уште тогаш започнаа да се утврдуваат националните држави, но ние не можевме тоа да го достигнеме, ние не стигнавме, нас не `растрелаа’ Пријаслевската Рада.“7 Токму од страна на украинските националистички кругови, политички обединети под егидата на Сеукраинското Обединување „Слобода“, а по изборите 2012 и за првпат претставени во највисокиот законодавен дом на земјата - Врховниот совет (Радата), и најповеќе се експлатира јазичната тематика, како клучна во градењето на државотворна украинска нација, во чиста етничка смисла. Во овој контекст, украинските националисти, се поборници за агресивна украинизација во земјата, преку исклучиво користење на украинскиот јазик во сите државни институции, вклучително и во наставата, која во сите училишта треба да се изведува исклучиво на украински јазик, додека на јазичните малцинства да им биде гарантирано право само на неделни курсеви за негување на мајчиниот јазик. Што се однесува до средствата за масовна комуникација, содржините на украински јазик не смеат да бидат помалку од 78%, колку што е уделот на етничките Украинци според последниот попис во земјата8, а украинските производи да се декларираат исклучиво на украински јазик. Воопшто не е за изненадување што овие кругови жестоко реагираа, на Законот за основите на државната јазична политика од 2012, кој во Украина гарантираше користење на регионалните јазици, во законодавно утврдени сфери напоредно со државниот украински јазик, во оние региони каде носителите на регионалниот јазик учествуват во вкупниот уделот на регионалното население со повеќе од 10%. Bodies of Knowledge: The Presentation of Personified Figures in Engraved Allegorical Series Produced in the Netherlands, 1548-1600 Abstract During the second half of the sixteenth century, engraved series of allegorical subjects featuring personified figures flourished for several decades in the Low Countries before falling into disfavor. Designed by the Netherlandsâ?? leading artists and cut by professional engravers, such series were collected primarily by the urban intelligentsia, who appreciated the use of personification for the representation of immaterial concepts and for the transmission of knowledge, both in prints and in public spectacles. The pairing of embodied forms and serial format was particularly well suited to the portrayal of abstract themes with multiple components, such as the Four Elements, Four Seasons, Seven Planets, Five Senses, or Seven Virtues and Seven Vices. While many of the themes had existed prior to their adoption in Netherlandish graphics, their pictorial rendering had rarely been so pervasive or systematic.

[1] He died in the 2015 Metro-North Valhalla train crash .[3] Early life Liedtke was born in Newark, New Jersey ,[4] and grew up in Livingston, New Jersey .[4] Liedtke studied Art History , receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1967 from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey , a Master of Arts degree in 1969 at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. [5] Liedtke said that his interest in Dutch paintings began because he was focused on images as a child from hours and hours of watching a lot of TV. [6] He described his aesthetic as that of having a focus on how he responded to visual patterns compared to a more typical perspective focused on story and narratives. [6] Career Academia Liedtke planned on a career in academia.
