In 2014, European production of irrigation and crop protection equipment increased by 1.4% compared with 2013. Considering the range of products, the production of mechanical sprayers was the only one to record a decrease (-0.7%). Sprayers and other crop protection devices represented 697 and 365 million euros respectively.

In 2015, 7,611 agricultural trailers were registered in France, down 11.1% on 2014. This slowdown affected all products with the exception of water tanks and livestock vehicules, which increased by 46% and 1% respectively.
