1 In 2010, IRSC celebrates its 50th anniversary as the area’s major resource for postsecondary education and career training. The past five decades demonstrate a tradition of excellence, with planned growth and expansion paving the way for continued service to our students and communities.

Despite the funding challenges faced by all state and local agencies, IRSC has expanded its enrollment and provided an increasing number of students a local, Edwin R. In 2009 - 2010, the IRSC Foundation provided more than $2.2 million to help hundreds of students through scholarships, and $2.5 million to IRSC for enhanced facilities and instructional support.
