The Hon. The Guana Freight II rolled over on its side in heavy seas on its way from Marsh Harbour to Baker’s Bay on Guana Cay. The captain, Armando Gracia, and crew members, Yvnel and John Nonhomme, escaped from the pilot house and were soon rescued by a passing boat. A barge with a crane of American Bridge Company arrived on the site and was able to raise the overturned barge within a few hours.
