Specification BROKER'S COMMENTS With significant input from Rod & Olin Stephens, this Enderlein design, was built for the then Commodore of the Royal Swedish (he kept her for 20 years!). She was a member of the Swedish Admirals Cup team 1961 and 1963 and equally successful as a . Expensive refit in 2005 – DIONE is stunningly beautiful. The fact that Dione has recently confused a member of the Sparkman & Stephens\' office proves she is a lovely mix of Olle Enderlein and perhaps Olin Stephens. However, DIONE is not a delicate classic, there is something about her Scandinavian roots that make her a very usable family cruising boat. You can almost feel she would not mind another rugged slog to the Fastnet Rock either! With her striking good looks she really is a fabulous classic yacht, attracting attention wherever she goes.

DIONE was built in the Gronsta yard at Lidingo, near Stockholm and Ola DIONE remained in her original ownership until 1976, when she was sold to Wettergren\'s house. DIONE. I dare say that in my forty years of dealing with yachts I can remember few, if any, occasions when I have come across anything like her, In 2000 she won the Scottish offshore championship against all comers. taking into account that she is 21 years old. I am convinced that there are no possibilities to build a yacht like DIONE in Sweden today”. In 2001 Howard Bryan and his family sailed her non-stop from Largs to northern Norway, to visit the Lofoten Islands. In a later survey, Mr M G Duff writes: “When one’s criteria are normal healthy design, exceptional beauty and unique standard of construction there In December 2004 DIONE was purchased by Jeffrey Streule. Later in February 2009, she was bought by Stéphane Even, the current owner who won the 1st Brest Classic week in 2010.

As the first yacht to be registered in the Republic of Ireland she carries the sail number IRL 1
