Specification BROKER'S COMMENTS SALANA is an interesting design from the board of Erik Salander, famous in Scandinavia and elsewhere for designing serious racing yachts for sporting enthusiasts – mostly in the first half of the 20th Century. Well educated in marine architecture he created some remarkable designs and was prolific in the Square Metre classes both on his own and in collaboration with other noted designers. His structures were considered to be very efficient and noted for making good speed yet leaving little wake. For her owner SALANA was pretty well love at first sight and having undertaken the works to restore her has had the benefit of real pleasure and enjoyment - not to mention the evident pleasure of his crew ! She is a truly delightful small yacht.
