UEFA European Under-21 Championship accreditation

Deadline is 25 May for final tournament to be played in the

The final tournament of the 2007 UEFA European Under-21 Championship will be played between Sunday 10 June and Saturday 23 June at four venues in the Netherlands: , , Heerenveen and Nijmegen. The hosts, Israel, and Portugal have been drawn into Group A (Heerenveen and Groningen) while the Czech Republic, England, Italy and Serbia will play their Group B matches at the other two venues. Apart from acting as hosts, the Dutch are defending champions, having beaten Ukraine in 2006 – the last final tournament to be played in an even-numbered year.

Media representatives wishing to attend the tournament must apply directly to UEFA and can do so as of today via the on-line accreditation service on .com. The deadline for accreditations is Friday 25 May 2007.

Applications received after the deadline may not be considered. In case of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, please immediately advise UEFA Media Accreditation Services by writing to [email protected]. No-shows will be taken into consideration for future UEFA events. All application requests will be answered by the end of May 2007.

UEFA is not responsible for ordering or reserving telephone lines at any of the stadiums used in the Final Tournament. The media working areas and media tribunes at the Abe Lenstra Stadium (Heerenveen), the (Groningen), the Gelredome (Arnhem), De Goffert (Nijmegen) stadiums are equipped with FREE WIFI connections. The media tribunes are also equipped with a limited number of FREE pre-installed ADSL lines, allocation of which will be supervised by a UEFA Media Officer on site.

NEW REGISTRATION & ACCREDITATION PROCESS

UEFA has new Portals in FAME dedicated to Media and Broadcasters.

FAME is an integrated platform designed to manage all UEFA football management and administration needs.

The platform comprises several portals of which the Media Portal is accessible to professional media only and the Broadcasters Portal is accessible to radios and televisions.

The UEFA online accreditation service is for professional written press, radio and TV broadcasters ONLY; it allows them to request accreditations for UEFA events. All representatives wishing to request accreditations for Club Finals and/or Euro Final Tournaments have to register at their specific portal in order to gain access rights and, then, to be able to request accreditations for UEFA events.

Medium and large-scale media, broadcaster or radio organisations are invited to contact UEFA via [email protected] in order to receive detailed information on the Corporate Registration Process including the appointment of a Company Front Office User (CFOU - the person responsible for the data insertion of his organisation's staff and respective service requests).

Once the registration has been accepted by UEFA, applicants may login to request an accreditation using their username and password via the Media or Radio/Broadcasters' portals
