Draw for UEFA European Under-21 Championship

The final tournament of the 2007 UEFA European Under-21 Championship will take place from Sunday 10 June until Saturday 23 June 2007 in The .

The draw for the final round will be held at 18:15 on Friday 24 November at the City Hall in Arnhem and will decide the pairings of the matches scheduled in the following stadiums: Gelredome in Arnhem, in , Abe Lenstra Stadium in Heerenveen and De Goffert in Nijmegen.

The Netherlands, as hosts as well as reigning European champions will be seeded in positions A1, whereas , Czech Republic and England, the three associations with the highest coefficients from the qualifying competition (including play-offs), will be the other seeded teams.

The four unseeded teams to be drawn to make up the full complement of the eight participating nations are Italy, Portugal, Serbia and Israel.

The draw will be preceded by the Finalist Workshop to be held at the nearby House of the Province of Gelderland. This workshop is not open to the media, but the media representatives are welcome to attend the first 5 minutes of the workshop at 14:30. The media centre at the city Hall of Arnhem will open at 15:30 hours, the doors to the draw hall will open at 17:15. The draw will be followed by a joint press conference in the draw hall, and subsequently the representatives of the participating teams, the KNVB and UEFA, will be available for interviews.
