GREGORY announced that, in consequence of certain divisions which had taken place in the other branch of the Legislature, the Premier had thought it his duty to tender his resignation to the Governor, and that the Ministry only held office until their successors should be appointed. The House accordingly adjourned for the Ministerial elections, and re-assembled on the lOth January, 1884.
