Meeting Minutes The February meeting minutes were distributed for review and approved.

Financial Update

 No update

Registrations / Teams

 We’re at 174 total registrants, down 27 players from 2020  Age / Registrants: 9/24; 10/25; 11/23; 12/20; 13/28; 14/32; 15/22  Seeking additional players from other associations to help fill out rosters, especially at the 12 and 13 age groups  Consider combining 12 and 13s to form one A team; plan to form two 13A teams and one 13AA team  Tony to check with MBL to see if this plan is supported

Age Group Coordinators

 For tournaments, will need to drop one team from the 10s, one from 12s; add two tournaments for 14AA

Tryouts

 Overall, the tryouts at the Savage Dome went fairly well, need to allow for more setup time next year  The tee time approach worked very well and was much more efficient with less waiting around; consider using this approach even in non-Covid years  Consider creating a FAQs document and post on the Tryouts page on the website

Website Update / Communications

 Send out tryout times to each family with a reminder on drop-off and pick-up times  A Facebook page has been created and advertising on Facebook

Committee Updates Coach Selection

 Paid coaches are confirmed for 15AAA and 15AA with parent coaches signed up for most teams  Rob will contact parents from teams without coaches to find coaching options

 Looking into hitting nets for each team

 No update

Uniforms

 In-House uniforms will have a similar look to traveling uniforms  Online store will be open March 3 to order uniforms and other apparel; orders not processed until teams are formed  The new K-1 sweatshirts will be on display at tryouts at the Cages

MBT State Tournament / August Classic Tournament

 We have committed to MBL to host the MBT state tournament and August Classic tournament on the typical weekends  Field update: o Eagan field reservations: Lex-Diff 1,2,4,5 along with Little Goat o AV field reservations: Aric received feedback today and will review with Simmon o Consider adding Sue Fischer field for 1-2 additional big fields  City of Eagan is discouraging concessions and limiting participation to 4 fields per complex  Simmon, Brian & Aric to meet to discuss MBT field options for Eagan, Apple Valley, Burnsville area  Tom and Joe have volunteered to help co-chair the August Classic; several board members scheduled to travel to Cooperstown or Branson during this tournament so need all available hands

 Registration is now open for the 2021 season

NEW BUSINESS

 We’ve had two new people approach the board as potential board members  A motion was passed to increase the size of the board from 19 to 23 people now that we have in-house and traveling combined as one organization
