SANDRA TRATTNIGG - Sopran Die aus Südkärnten stammende Sopranistin SANDRA TRATTNIGG lebt seit dem Jahr 2005 in Zürich. Ihr Gesangsstudium absolvierte sie an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Wien bei Helena Lazarska (Gesang) sowie Edith Mathis (Lied und Oratorium). 2001 gewann sie den Gesangswettbewerb «Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg» (Berlin), 2002 war sie Preisträgerin des «Musica Juventutis» Wettbewerbes des Wiener Konzerthauses und 2003 erhielt sie den Förderpreis der Universität Mozarteum Salzburg. 2001 gab Sandra Trattnigg ihr Operndebüt am Schlosstheater Schönbrunn mit Euridice in Glucks «Orfeo ed Euridice». Anschliessend war sie als Cleopatra («Giulio Cesare in Egitto») in Wien, Donna Elvira («Don Giovanni») an der Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg, Pamina («Die Zauberflöte»), Marie («Verkaufte Braut») und Antonia («Hoffmanns Erzählungen») bei der Oper Klosterneuburg sowie als Micaela («Carmen») am Stadttheater Klagenfurt zu hören. Danach wurde sie durch Nikolaus Harnoncourt an das OPERNHAUS ZÜRICH engagiert, wo die junge Sopranistin seit dieser Zeit u.a. Rollen wie Pamina, Erste Dame, Drusilla, Celia, Anna Geppone, Erstes Blumenmädchen, Herzogin von Parma, Solveig, Tamiri, Marzelline, Micaela, Vitellia, Rosalinde, Elisabeth, Ortlinde, Dritte Norne und Gutrune darstellte. Kürzlich war sie im Palau de les Arts in Valencia unter Zubin Mehta als Marzelline im FIDELIO zu hören und zuletzt brillierte sie mit der Hauptpartie in einer Uraufführung von DIE STADT DER BLINDEN, sowie als Regina im MATHIS DER MALER in Zürich. Im Sommer 2012 sang sie in der ZAUBERFLÖTE bei den Salzburger Festspielen und verkörperte die Freia im RHEINGOLD im neuen Leipziger Ring, in Sevilla die Gutrune und dritte Norne in der Fura dels Baus GÖTTERDÄMMERUNG. In den letzten zwei Jahren konnte Sandra Trattnigg ihren Fachwechsel ins jugendlich dramatische Fach vollziehen. -

SALZBURGER FESTSPIELE 2012 Editorial Die Oper 2012 Neuproduktionen von Mozarts Zauberflöte, Peter von Winters Das Labyrinth, Strauss’ Ariadne auf Naxos, Zimmermanns Die Soldaten, Puccinis La bohème, Bizets Carmen und Händels G iulio Cesare in Egitto umfassen mit konzertanten Aufführungen von Händels Tamerlano und Mozarts Il re pastore das Opernprogramm der Salzburger Festspiele 2012. Die Zauberflöte Der Erfolg eines Intendanten der Salzburger Festspiele wird auch daran gemessen, ob er beispielhafte Mozart-Aufführungen zustande bringt. Aus mehreren Gründen war die Entscheidung, mit Mozarts Zauberflöte zu beginnen, für mich zwingend. An erster Stelle stand die Zusage von Nikolaus Harnoncourt, in diesem Sommer die Mozart-Produktion zu übernehmen und diese auf historischen Instrumenten zu erarbeiten. Es ist nicht nur für Salzburg, sondern auch für Nikolaus Harnoncourt das erste Mal, dass er mit der ganzen Erfahrung eines Lebens dieses Werk in dieser Klangwelt mit dem Concentus Musicus Wien zu Gehör bringen wird, und ich bin ihm für dieses Geschenk unendlich dankbar. Gezeigt wird unsere Neuproduktion in der Felsenreitschule, womit wir an den magischen wie traditionellen Ort zurückkehren, in dem das Werk lange beheimatet war. Für die Inszenierung habe ich Jens-Daniel Herzog mit seinem langjährigen Bühnenbildpartner Mathis Neidhardt engagiert, die – soviel sei schon verraten – die Architektur des Raumes für das Bühnenbild aufgegriffen und miteinbezogen haben. Von ihrer stets respektvollen, genauen und immer auf die Gegenwart rekurrierenden Lesart erwarte ich mir eine spannende Auseinandersetzung für Mozarts Werk. Gemeinsam mit Nikolaus Harnoncourt haben wir ein Sängerensemble zusammengestellt, das von jungen und berührenden Stimmen wie Julia Kleiter, Bernard Richter und Georg Zeppenfeld, die alle schon mit Harnoncourt gearbeitet haben, ebenso geprägt ist wie von Neuentdeckungen. -
