ABC TELEVISION “Q&A” ANNOUNCED FOR SCREEN FOREVER CONFERENCE

Screen Producers Australia, in association with ABC Television, is delighted to announce an exclusive presentation of ABC’s flagship program, Q&A, on Tuesday 17 November at this year’s SCREEN FOREVER, the Australian screen industry conference being held at Crown Conference Centre in Melbourne.

In a keynote opener for the conference, Q&A host Tom Ballard will lead a specialist panel into the future of media content and the rapidly changing landscape facing Australian and international producers, featuring questions from Australia’s top producers.

With Q&A Executive Producer Peter McEvoy at the helm, the session includes audience interaction, real time feed and is specially designed for the SCREEN FOREVER audience of Australia’s top producers, distributors, financiers and media executives, as well as international guests.

Confirmed panelists for Q&A include: Dana Brunetti, President, Trigger Street Productions: Fiona Cameron, Chief Operating Officer, Screen Australia; Holly Hines, Senior Vice President, Content, Dynamic Television; Russel Howcroft, Executive General Manager, Network Ten; Jenni Tosi, Chief Executive Officer, Film Victoria and Sarah Snook, stage, television and film actress.

Known for its debate and insight, Q&A is an issues-based program with a mixture of entertainment and information. The specially selected panel will give their views and opinions in response to selected questions from the audience, made up exclusively of SCREEN FOREVER delegates.

Q&A will open the SCREEN FOREVER conference at Crown Conference Centre, Melbourne on Tuesday 17 November at 2.00pm. Delegates registered for SCREEN FOREVER are invited to submit their questions for consideration by the producers of Q&A, care of [email protected], by 5pm AEST on Wednesday 11 November.
